Situated by Bassenthwaite Lake and reached by a path from Mirehouse, historic house and gardens, through fields. The pre-Norman church houses a 13th century font and large 14th century cross amongst other interesting features. Although positioned remotely it was good to find open. There are lovely views to be had over the Lake. Well worth the pleasant short walk from Mirehouse.
