This is a mid terrace property situated just off the road into Keswick, within a few minutes gentle stroll to the centre of Keswick and all it's amenities.
Outside the property there is a shared parking area for up to 6 medium sized cars, if parked properly - the idea being 2 per property .....no problems when we were there with parking but maybe some marking would be appropriate in a busy time especially if visitors have larger vehicles when it may be a little tight.
The property itself is based on upside down living, so after entering into the porch, on the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms, shower/wc and a utility area.
On the first floor is where you'll find the lounge and kitchen and a bathroom.
On the second floor are 2 additional bedrooms and a shower / wc.
The property was very clean and bright and all fittings and furniture of a high standard....one of the most luxurious properties we've stayed in. It had everything you could need for your stay and more. The property was lovely and warm thanks to a gas boiler.
It is extremely difficult to find anything to be negative about....however I would just mention the hanging lamp in the lounge - it became very good friends with my head during our stay as it hangs quite low and near the sofa / coffee table so as an over 6 footer it was in the firing line. What else could you possibly find negative here? Ok so you can hear some delivery sounds from the nearby supermarket when the lorries turn up....however this also means as a plus point the shops are very close.
We have dogs and although this property is classified as dog friendly, we had a change of plan and didn't bring them with us.....I'm pleased we didn't as I would have felt nervous due to the high standards / upside down living and the thought of dogs outside all day returning and going straight up the stairs! Worth noting if you do take dogs, they are not allowed in the bedrooms, which I perfectly understand the reasons for.
We'd definitely stay here again
Fantastic cottage fully equipped could not think of anything else you would need. Pet friendly with enclosed back and front garden. A large grassy play area with trampoline etc for children. Off street parking for 2 cars and only 2 minute walk to Keswick High Street. Booths supermarket just round the corner. Try the Keswickian they make the most delicious fish and chips.
Just returned home after a week with my family icoperating three generations, baby and dig, and wholeness there had the pleasure of staying at mulberry house, on arrival were early however the two ladies who were cleaning the house kindlay let us put our refrigerator food in house and park car, which is ample for Two cars. The house as said is produced in the townhouse style with two large bedrooms and shower room on ground floor living room and kitchen + bathroom on first floor and large bedroom, single room and shower room on third floor, the whole house by Looks has been recently refurbished in a modern style with modern kitchen, all very clean, within very easy access to central Keswick while tucked away from busy Main Street, would highlight slight nose of Booths supermarket which is close by with re-stocking taking place for about an an hour later at night, this said don't let it put anyone off ideal position, would highly recommend and will hopefully return to These promises or one of the sister residences on future visits to Keswick.
