We came here for drinks one evening, and my husband and father-in-law very much enjoyed the beer. We decided to book for dinner, as people staying in our cottage previously had said good things in the comments book. We were not disappointed. The dinner was lovely. Everything was very tasty, huge portions and good value. There is an extensive menu added to with a few specials each day. Everything we had was lovely.
The only one tiny niggle my husband had was that they put chocolate sauce on the sticky toffee pudding. It wasn't necessary and if anything detracted from the lovely pudding itself.
Have not had a better pub meal for a LONG time! Book in advance, as even on a Monday it was packed.
