In July 2013 we spend 4 nights at Mosedale End Farm. We were warmly welcomed by Jo Anne and her family. Our room was clean and comfortable. For activites there were up to date leaflets in the hallway. For extra touch JoAnne left us each day fresh home cooked cakes very handy. The breakfast was great fresh produce home cook bread and farm eggs brighten my day. The B& B also provided places to eat locally in the evening you. If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle then this b&b is very peacful and the owners are very caring.

As stated, used as an overnight stay for the coast to coast mountain bike challenge, welcoming hosts led us to a spacious well equiped en suite and a quite nights sleep. Breakfast was all that we wanted and the extra treats on sale were duly sampled by the wife. We will definitely be coming back as it sits very close to two of our intended walks. Go on you wont be dissapointed.

Room Tip: choose any, guarenteed quite night sleep

We have been staying twice in Mosedale End Farm and we enjoyed it so much!
Four nights in 2012 discovering Lake District National Park and this year it was the best break coming back from Scotland.
Such a quiet location, wonderfull landscape and preserved, noiseless country, far away from the main roads. A so nice eighteen century farm with sheep and hens and so beautiful roses and flowers.
JoAnne and Andrew welcomed us so kindly. The family room is comfortable and cosy. JoAnne is an excellent cook, thus we enjoyed the full breakfast with farm eggs and homemade bread. Various sandwiches are available for picnic.
Everiday for tea time, JoAnne prepares a delicious homemade cake.
Well, hope we'll be back soon!

Room Tip: Children do love bunk beds in family room.

Thanks for a great review. The beautiful roses are finshed now, but the rest of the garden is still in full bloom. I look forward to seeing you again next time you are over from France.

A great farmhouse B&B which was our accommodation for the first night of our coast to coast mountain bike ride. We were made very welcome, with the room being spacious, comfortable and clean. A superb breakfast set us perfectly for a hard day's ride! We are looking forward to paying a return visit to use as a base for some walking. Highly recommended.

A very comfortable home from home in picturesque surroundings. A very warm welcome from the hosts and a great full english breakfast is provided to set anyone up for any activity you may be doing in this idyllic part of the Lake District. The accommodation is very comfortable and a home made cake is left in your room each day by Jo . Also the hosts provide a very efficient taxi service to and from The Mill Inn in Mungrisdale which provides excellent meals. However if the weather allows this is a lovely 35 minute walk to the pub to build up both a thirst and your appetite. Just a glorious part of the world and I highly recommend it to anyone.

We were made to feel very welcome and had a great night in Cumbria. Very quiet and in a great location to explore the northern Lakes. Breakfast was very good and set us up perfectly for the day ahead and the cake left in the room was a real treat.
