My brother and myself have just spent four nights with Joanna and Dave and I must say what a great time we had. The room was clean, tidy and very comfortable and the breakfast was perfect.
You could not ask to meet anyone more friendly and if I ever need to go back that way I would not stay anywhere else.
Wishing you both all the best,
Nigel & Michael.

We stayed at the Cottage weekend 5 April 2013 that was myself, wife, daughter and our Jack Russell - we found it very good value, comfortable and clean. The hosts were very accommodating, friendly and not intrusive. Absolutely will go again !!

In the area the pub Black Swan was nice we had a good meal(a bit expensive) and in the next village Temple Sowerby we eat at the Kings Arms and this was excellent and staff really friendly

We were house hunting in the Vale of Eden and found Pea Top Farm B & B on the internet. Joanna made us feel welcome and we had a wonderful breakfast. The food at the pub nearby was excellent and very convenient as it is a short walk from Pea Top Farm. Joanna also kindly gave us some handy tips towards our house hunting efforts which were much appreciated and the views of the Pennines were very majestic. Many Thanks.

Just spent 5 days in the Lake District and were delighted to find the best Bed and Breakfast ever. We had the disabled room which made life so much easier for my wife. The wet room is fantastic. The whole of the property has been very beuatifully done. Joanna and David go out of their way to make your stay as memorable as possible. David is a wonderful chef providing breakfasts to "die for". The next time we hear the Lake District calling the only place we would consider staying will be Pea Top Farm. On behalf of Mrs Clarke and ourselves thank you so much.

We stayed in Pea Top cottage for a long weekend with our Cocker Spaniel. Spotlessly clean cottage - although renovated to a high standard 18 months ago it looks quite new. The owner had kindly provided a lovely welcome pack consisting of fresh eggs from the farm, bacon, milk, a bottle of white wine and a bottle of claret! Although the living area is small and open plan, we had everything we needed - comfortable beds (2 bedrooms), clean, quality linen, all kitchen utensils as well as a dishwasher.
We had a very pleasant stay - good value, too. Would certainly return.

We have stayed at Peatop Farm on a number of occasions over the past 4 years and each time we experience a warm and friendly greeting from Joanna and David. The rooms are very clean, comfy and well laid out with all the facilities. On the last visit we stayed in the disabled room which has a lovely wet room attached, which is ideal for those who find showering difficult. We have stayed, over time, in all 4 rooms that comprise the bed and breakfast and are looking forward to using the super new self catering 2 bedroom cottage which is adjacent to the farm across the courtyard.
The breakfast is super with home laid eggs and abundant bacon, black pudding, tomatoes and mushrooms a plenty, superbly cooked and served by Joanna and David.
We love coming up to Pea Top Farm, enjoy the beautiful views across the Eden ,walks and fishing along the Eden River and just relaxing.
The farm is very convenient for visiting the Lake District without all the hustle and bustle. We also enjoy visiting the Eden valley villages and towns such as Appleby and Penrith.
Thank you Joanna and David for our home from home. You are super stars!!

My husband was staying here on business so i went with our 3 year old to join him for a few days. The owners David and Joanna couldn't be more helpful - they were lovely and my hubby is back there next week because it is such a nice place.
