Stopped here for 5 days over the new year and it was a good location for going off walking or popping to the many local coffee shops. Only 2 mins walk to the train station and a brilliant restaurant / pub directly across the road.
We used the free pass for the spa about 20 minutes walk away near the lake at the Old England McDonald Hotel which was a very nice bonus!
The staff at the BnB were kind and polite and there was a good choice of breakfast each morning. Only downside was that the shower was tiny but with free spa pass it didn't really matter!

Booked a room here very last minute for a Saturday night impromptu trip.
The family room was pleasant, clean, with a nice en-suite and fitted 3 adults fine.
Owners were friendly and helpful, and all finished off with a good Full English and fresh coffee for breakfast.

This is very nice & comfortable small Guest House in the city center, 2 min from train, bus station & tourist info center and about 25 min (nice walk) from the lake; great location; rooms are very clean, cosy but also very small; room nr 3- lovelly decorated room on top floor, external bathroom & WC and very low celing; Bed in that room is really comfortable; tv, dvd, free internet, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, hot, cold wather, soap etc and sink in the room; Breakfast was very tasty, service ok; There is very nice smell in all Guest House (airfresher or something?- really pleasent) We also get free pass to local spa and swiming pool in Old England Hotel witch was fantastic extras for that price; We spend lovelly time of 4 days in Windermere and Lake District; It's a lot of public paths around so you don't need to walk along busy road to get to Lake or woodland-very nice walks; In Windermere it's also a lot of shops and nice restaurants, 2 museums and nice church. You can get bus to Keswick as well-very pretty town, and around or rent a boat. I can recomended that place to everyone who want to spent nice few days and relax :)

Room tip: Room nr 3- top floor, is situated on the quieter side but there is very low ceiling and external bathroom and WC (all on different floors) that room is small but OK :)

Stayed here on the 3rd & 4th Aug with 3 of my friends. We were in the family room which was cosy with modern furnishings. Chris and Michelle were lovely and catered for all our requests. Food was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. A smashing guest house in the heart of Windermere, would def recommend this to everyone. We will all be back again next year :-)

Stayed here on 3 & 4 August 2013 with 3 of my friends. Hospitality was first class & we had a fabulous weekend. Chris & Michelle are very sociable and catered to our every need going the extra mile to accomodate us. Nothing is overlooked. Rooms are very modern, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb and location is fabulous, right in the heart of the Town. We will definitely be returning and I would highly recommend it to others looking for a weekend of being pampered and well looked after. Thank you both, Chris and Michelle (and your little helper on Monday). See you very soon xx
