Stayed at Lindeth howe 1/4/14 travel zoo offer £159 afternoon tea, canapés, 5 course dinner & Breakfast So so so worth every penny, quality for your money, the food was fantastic, staff so professional, best meal I've ever eaten. We had to leave early as I had a zoo keeper day booked at Dalton, the night porter was a gem made us some tea and toast and offered is fruit to take away, we have eaten in Michelin star restaurants that have not been close to the standard of the meal we had here, the only bonus of it not being Michelin star yet! Is I suppose it will keep the prices down. Overall best food experience of our lives. Thank you Lindeth howe we will be back soon.

We stayed here for a night and would love to return...it's 'oldy worldly' decor is very relaxing and comforting and the atmosphere very peaceful. We had a dual aspect lake view room which was stunning. The room was massive and very clean-as was the bathroom. We had afternoon tea and a 5 course meal-all really lovely and very well presented as well as yummy! The best thing about this place was the staff-all very attentive, friendly and helpful. We were away for the first time with our 3 month old daughter and they couldn't have been more accommodating-they even have a library dining room for families so you can relax with your children without feeling you are disturbing others. The staff obliged us by bringing dessert and coffee to our room when our daughter disturbed and breakfast in bed was just lovely-very punctual and well cooked. Over all we loved it, it's great for families and will definitely return.

The evening meal is just a work of art - the service, presentation and food. The best part was that we were able to enjoy three of these meals as we stayed for three nights!

Our first visit to the Lindeth Howe Country House Hotel, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was excellent hotel. Food, comfort and staff second to none. Will certainly visit again.

Outstanding food and service. We ate from the 5 course dinner menu with canapes. The vegetarian food was wonderful and the children's menu was excellent. My fussy son really enjoyed it. We really enjoyed the pianist playing in the dining room and taking requests. We will definitely be back.
