“Baby Friendly!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 June 2013 via mobile

After walking around Windermere failing to find anywhere for lunch that looked even partially baby friendly we came across Coffee Bar 7 just up Oak Street. If you excuse the steps just inside you are greeted by very friendly staff who offered a high hair immediately swiftly followed by some toys for our son.

The paninis and coffees were great and the best value of any we have found in the Lake District.

Can't recommend this little gem enough!

“Cosy!”

An excellent place to get a good cup of coffee in cosy friendly surroundings. The freshly made food is worth trying out.

Another New Year trip to chill out before returning to work. Absolutely packed! Coffee still good and cakes better than ever. Bacon, Brie, and cranberry panini lovely.

“Lovely from the inside :)”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 October 2012

The bar looks a bit drab from the outside, but from the inside it has a lovely "at home in the living-room feel" with very nice service. The food is OK but the selection of meals and drinks is of course not of a restaurant or a pub type. We had home-made soup of the day - parsnip and honey soup (interesting combination, a bit to sweet and very hot, probably microwaved) and jacket potatoes (which were also microwaved, but you can't expect them to bake a potato for 2 hrs). Prices are OK, and they also offer decent home-made sandwiches, muffins and short-breads. For a full lunch option I would probably skip this place, but for a quick bite and a bit of relaxation it was exactly what we wanted.
