“Incredible Trip”
Reviewed 23 February 2018 for a stay in February 2018

We had the most wonderful stay. The views from the lodge are beautiful and the location of the site is perfect. The lodge itself has all the amenities needed for a home away from home, we even celebrated pancake day! We had a pleasant experience from the point of booking and would definitely stay again.

“Great Weekend”
Reviewed 20 January 2018 for a stay in January 2018

Stayed at the lodge last weekend, fabulous accommodation in a lovely location. The lodge was fantastic through out, was clean and tidy. Can’t wait to go again, have recommended it everyone. Bash and Donna were great, nothing was too much trouble! They even rang us to help us set up the WiFi, the chocolates and card was a lovely touch. If your fancying a curry when your staying there’s a great takeaway called Jays Kitchen

Thanks to Bash and Donna again for a great weekend!

“Beautiful Lodge in an outstanding location !!”
Reviewed 14 January 2018 for a stay in December 2017

Stayed here over the festive period. The Lodge was clean and well equipped in a super location.
Great walk / cycle along by Troutbeck tongue as well as a nice walk across to Ambleside. The park had a small park for the kids, with a pub restaurant on site.

“Relaxing stay with beautiful views. Home from home.”
Reviewed 9 January 2018 for a stay in December 2017

The perfect place to get away from life's hustle and bustle. Perfect for a family of 4. Very clean and fantastic service from the owners, real genuine and lovely people. Beautiful surroundings with plenty to do just a short drive away. We were blessed with glorious sunshine then a lovely blanket of snow. Magical. We had fun trying to identify the footprints of different wildlife. We will no doubt book again.

“Rural Comfort”
Reviewed 18 December 2017 for a stay in December 2017

We had a 2 night visit to Fellside and found it a peaceful and convenient base for the weekend.

It was our first holiday in a lodge of that kind and we were pleased to find it was equally as comfortable as staying in a good holiday cottage. The furnishings and equipment are of a high standard.

The site is a good base for walks in the area and the Queens Head just up the road is a very nice place to while away a few lazy hours on a Saturday afternoon.

Happily recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a combination of a rural escape but with comfort.

We will return at some point in the future to explore the area further.
