We went with friends this Sunday for lunch and were extremely disappointed. The soup starter was tasty (although far from generous) but the main courses were worse than average. Those who had the beef were treated to only one slice of meat, one floret of brocolli, one baby corn, three cubes of (underdone) carrot, an overdone Yorkshire pudding, two roast potatoes and another dainty potato invention. One of our party asked for more gravy but was told 'the chef has run out of of it'. The chicken main course was very dry and came with four 'fine green beans', three cubes of the underdone carrot, the potato invention and little else.
Dessert selection was not helped by the poor English spoken by a member of waiting on staff.
Not a dining experience to remember - other than for the wrong reasons.
