Stayed 3 nights in June 2014 and had a lovely time. The rooms are stylish and high quality, and the breakfasts absolutely superb! The home made bread alone is with a visit! The location is about 3 minutes from the restaurants in Windemere, so good and central. Everyone there was friendly and informative on things to do and see. Definitely recommended.

We can't thank Chris and his wife enough for a perfect getaway in the lakes. As stated on the website the room was furnished and decorated to a very high standard and immaculately maintained. This made relaxing very easy and allowed us to fully enjoy our time in the lakes. Jericho’s is literally only a mile walk from Bowness giving access to a great selection of restaurants and evening entertainment.

Breakfast was consistently superb and very tasty made even better with the use of locally sourced produce. The portions were also perfectly judged with a wide selection of both continental and cooked breakfast options.

Chris was always on hand and gave us some fantastic advise and tips for days out with handy maps and print outs and directions allowing us to get the most out of our weekend to explore the beautiful scenery and not just be confined to Bowness.

Overall we had a truly magical weekend away and would highly recommend Jericho’s to anyone.

Room Tip: If you fancy treating yourself then pick room 12 for the perfect romanctic getaway.

Great hotel with very friendly staff, host was very knowledgeable and had a good conversation on arrival. The room was lovely and very nicely decorated and the area is very quiet as we were on the rear of the property. Great nights sleep and a superb Cumbrian Breakfast the morning after. Will definitely recommend to friends or stay here again if we are in the area. If in doubt dont be you will enjoy this hotel from start to finish.

Room Tip: The rooms at the top were smaller but still a great size!!

I would certainly recommend Jerichos to family and friends. The breakfasts were excellent and the rooms immaculate and extremely comfortable. My only moan would be that I would have loved to have sampled their evening meals which they no longer do. However they did recommend other places to eat in the area. We chose 'Hooked' a local fish restaurant on their recommendation and it too was fabulous.

Very enjoyable stay, lovely hostess who took our bags upstairs for us, and always smiling. Even chilled our champagne for us to have in the room. Spotless rooms with modern décor very nice.
The breakfast was perfect and Chris does beautiful scrambled egg.
Only one criticism that is nothing really could have done with curtains as well as the blinds as very bright and light early morning, but at least we got the sun.
Would stay again.

Room Tip: First floor was excellent for us.

We booked this hotel through secret escapes and their was a complimentary bottle of wine with our stay.
First impression when we arrived was very positive indeed. We were made to feel very welcome (which sometimes when your on an deal that's not always the case). We entered the hotel and the decor was really lovely and in keeping with the hotel. We were shown to our bedroom which was beautifully appointed very clean had everything that you would want in a hotel bedroom. The bathroom was again lovely with top quality shampoo's hand washes etc. Unfortunately the stopped serving dinner I believe a few months ago but never mind we found a lovely fish restaurant just a few minutes away.
We went for breakfast at 08:30 we yet again were made to feel extremely welcome. The selection was excellent in every department as in the hot and the cold food. (Just one thing if you could get either skimmed or semi skimmed milk option) would be nice. But hey ho that was the only thing I could find that could be adhered to.
Would we stay at Jericho's again? Definitely and we will lovely truly relaxing night.

Positives...
Central location
Easy parking.
Tasty breakfast.
Lovely Decor.
Friendly staff

Negatives...
TV reception & wifi were rubbish.
Blinds were too thin and let all the light in in the morning. Would highly recommend putting thick curtains up so your guests can have a lie in if they want.
