“Amazing lodge ”
Reviewed 11 November 2016 for a stay in November 2016

Myself girlfriend and dog Rocco have just returned from a fabulous holiday in happy days lodge in white cross bay. We could not believe the standard of the lodge. There is a on suit bathroom in the main bedroom and a walk in wardrobe. This lodge has everything you need and was spotlessly clean. The bed was so comfortable it was more like a hotel. The lodge is in a great location for exploring the lakes with Ambleside windermere and Keswick close by. We will definitely be booking up for a return vist. Thank you Kim for a great holiday

“Fabulous lodge, comfortable, clean and spacious.”
Reviewed 1 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

The lodge is in a great setting, spacious and tastefully decorated inside. Very comfortable. We took my mum and her little dog and it was perfect. So nice to arrive and find milk in the fridge and tea and coffee and sugar. The owner had thought of everything to provide, even a little dog mat and dishes. The drying cupboard in the kitchen was ideal for our coats and boots. So nice and would not hesitate to rebook again.
Nice little circuit to walk the dog around the woodland to the lake.
Stagshaw gardens and Holehird gardens worth a visit. Trip on the ferry to Lakeside and then the steam train to Haverthwaite was lovely (dog friendly too) Tarn Hows a lovely walk. Visited Brantwood and the café next door fabulous.
A great holiday and stay. Thank you very much.

“Quality lodge in great park”

This is a fantastic lodge, the beds are super comfy, it's is decorated to a high standard, fully equipped kitchen, And lots of little extras you may need, including DVD's and games in case the weather is bad!!! I took my little boy and parents who all loved it. There was room outside for us to play cricket, car parking space and the lodge is a 2 minute walk to the gym, swimming pool and sports pitches. The location of the park is excellent just a few minutes drive from Ambleside and Windermere. I will definitely be going back and would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone wanting a break in the Lakes.

“Comforts of Home”
Reviewed 12 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

We spent three nights in this lodge in early March 2015 and had a great weekend. The lodge itself is extremely well equipped and is very well presented. Even though it's a 'lodge' we actually felt totally at home from the minute we stepped inside. The living and dining area is plush, and the kitchen is spacious. Add to this the very comfy beds, the lovely bathroom and the en-suite shower room, and it feels more boutique hotel than holiday park. That said, it's useful to be on a park where there's a bar and a restaurant close to hand, and a good size swimming pool and gym. Then of course, there's the access this lodge provides to the wonders of the Lake District itself. Breath-taking views, gorgeous scenery, restaurants, cafes and shops aplenty; what more can you ask for from a pre-spring mini-break. We will return...

“Outstanding lodge in the beautiful Lake District.”

The lodge is owned by the same people who own Lazy Days lodge and is close by so would be ideal for large families or friends who holiday together.

This lodge is newly re-furnished with top quality carpets and furniture. The bedrooms are cosy and luxurious. One with en suite and walk in wardrobe. Lovely bedding and plenty of fluffy towels. It is similar to staying in a high quality hotel.

The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and there is a welcome pack of tea, coffee and milk.

The park is situated in a beautiful and convenient part of the Lake District.

We wished we had booked an extra week and will be back again soon.

Thanks for the great review.......we quite often rent both lodges out together. We have previous guests who cannot decide which lodge they like the best. Perhaps if you decide to revisit the Lakes, you can try our other lodge....Lazy Days.
