“the girls have done it again!”
Reviewed 25 June 2009

Hi, big thanks to Julie and Sophie for a massive warm welcome again on our recent stay to Blackers. We have been coming to this B and B for many yeasr now and the girls are the thirds owners we have known...and the best!Little touches like balloons and banners in the room for my partner, a drink on the house when we arrived to say happy birthday and always on hand to deal with anything. My friends and colleagues all came to join us on the saturday and were made up with the service, friednliness and general standard of the rooms and bar.The food was excellent although we were too rough to try it this time sadly! feel like we have known you 2 for ever. Thanks again for making it a fantastic weekend away-and that is from all of us... the others are just lazy and wont ever get round to doing this!!Keep uo the good work ladies and we hope to see you again soon. In the meantime-CHILL YER BOOTS!x

This was the 3rd time I'd stayed at the Belvedere and once again it was fantastic. Clean, tidy and excellent service, with a fabulous breakfast. There really is no need to look any further when booking a hotel in Blackpool.

We've just back from a fantastic weekend in Blackpool for my partners 30th Birthday and would like to say a massive thank you to Julie and Sophie at the Belvedere hotel. Not only is it spottlessly clean and excellent value for money (a top knotch full english included in the price!), the two hostesses made us feel so welcome and what they didn't know about going out in Blackpool isn't worth knowing. They even phoned round local attraction to find out times and prices for us and got us concessions for a local night club.

The hotel is just minutes walk from all the Clubs and Bars (you have to go to Funny Girls! It's an amazing night, but that's another story! lol). The beach and Tower are about a 10 minute walk away and getting to the Pleasure Beach and Piers was no problem by tram. The location was ideal!

Thanks once again ladies. I'm sure we'll be seeing you again and you come highly recommended when people ask me where to stay in Blackpool!
xxx

My, my, my! What can I say, except what a fantabulastic time was had at the Belvedere Hotel.

I went to this hotel with my friends as they are frequent guests. I'm normally a bit apprehensive about going to a hotel for the first time, because you don't normally know what to expect or if it will match your expectations. However I knew my friends wouldn't stay in just any old place, so I knew I was onto a good thing.

We went for a Saturday night as we were going for a hen night at Funnygirls (which, by the way, is in tottering distance in five inch wedged heels from the hotels pretty front garden - hurrah!!). The outside of the hotel is very well maintained which carries on through the whole of the hotel. The main breakfast room is light and airy. The bar is what you'd expect - well stocked and very reasonably priced. Very comfy leather sofa too - if you can prize Julie up off it for two seconds (tee hee).

My room was at the front of the hotel on the first floor. As I was travelling light (left the other half at home) I was in a single. This in no way meant my room was any less significant or cared for. Very comfy bed, well stocked refreshment facilities (tea, coffee and scrummy biscuits - not a mini bar!! This isn't Las Vegas!!). I had the use of my own bathroom too which was spotlessly clean and more than enough room for me and my many bottles and lotions. By the way, most people aren't keen on the front of hotels as normally they're annoyed by noise of the passing traffic or generally noisy types strolling past, but I never heard a peep! The breakfasts are huge and very tasty (great bacon, J!!). Tea and coffee a-plenty.

I have no doubt that I will be back at the Belvedere before long, either with my friends or maybe with my other half. You're left to do whatever you want to do, but everything in the hotel is taken care of for you which adds to your stay. Very much enjoyed. Thank you for a lovely time... Jo x

Yet another great weekend at the belevedere. This is our second stay with Sophie and Julie they make you feel so very welcombe as soon as you walk in the door. The hotel is situated in the right location handy for the seafront, the town centre and the nightlife. The rooms are nice and comfortable and always nice and clean. Nothing seems to be to much trouble. Breakfast is always nice and plenty of it. Now we are looking forward to our next visit in the not to distant future. We would not want to stay any where else.
