Pasing through Blackpool and had to stay over as a colleague had recommended it and now I see why, friendly warm welcome and tidy clean warm room with flat screen oh the modern gadgets oh and it had more than 5 channels bliss, travelling around the country and staying in many places you would be amazed how many hotels only get 2 channels lol.
Anyway, the important things ...............
Rooms clean and tidy
Food above average even for a fussy like me
Locality, excellent co-op and beer shop within a minutes walk
Staff super, they smiled and even at that time of year gave you a warm welcome
To do in the hotel, pool tables and gaming machines
Parking excellent and free, stayed at the Hilton and they had the cheek to charge me £2.50 a night parking!!!!

Would recommend for business and pleasure.

Me and two friends stayed for 3 nights over a weekend with our daugters. We were staying in Blackpool as our daughters were taking part in the Freestyle World Championships at the Winter Gardens which they have been training for for a year. The first night we had no sleep as their was stag parties at the hotel that did not sleep. Our room was on top of reception and we heard the all night noise of the drunk men. Their room was also on top of ours and we could hear every foot step and word they made. The girls had no sleep and were unable to dance their best on the Saturday. On Saturday night it was worse. More stag parties came and the men were intimidating the girls by not leaving them alone even though they are only 14, 15 and 16. They were shouting on all night and at 4:00am they were knocking very loudly on the 'dancers' door. I had to go and get the manager as the girls were woken up, however the manager told me to keep the noise down and respect other residents! We had no sleep after this then at 5:30am they were argueing very loudly outside our door. At 7:00am the next morning when we had to wake, we seen the manager sitting outside drinking with the men. The girls then did not dance their best on Sunday and were asleep half of the day. The bar is open 24 hours meaning the men did not stop drinking all night. The next morning we were shouted abuse getting told to keep the noise down. The manager only refunded us £20 per room and did not apologise. They knew the girls had a major competition and they also knew around 6 stag parties were staying at the hotel at the same time however we were not told this. For being a modern and clean hotel, this was disgusting. We will never be going back to this hotel again.

What a huge mistake we made staying here. We booked the weekend for our children participating in a worlds dance competition which we did explain when making the booking. What we didnt realise is this hotel is used by stags n hens. We arrived on the fri. We had to pay full amount on arrival & now we know why!no chances taken incase we left early 30+ males a stag party, kept us awake ALL night they didnt go to bed, they sat outside our window shouting swearing etc only to look out @6.30 to see staff also sitting drinking with them. We should have left as the next night was even worse as more stags arrived we were told about 100 what a NIGHTMARE it all started again @ 2am & went on all night, we had to get up as they started knocking on our door, the kids were petrified, we had to get up & ask them to stop but all we got was a torrent of abuse. Once again they stayed up all night outside our windows shouting, swearing & fighting all night. They didnt go to bed at all, they just drank for over a solid 48 hours. We should have left when we complained we got a £20 room refund what an insult. We were a couple of helpless mums who couldnt do anything but put up with it. So BEWARE stay away, this hotel is certainly not peaceful or away from the revellers it actually encourages the most rowdiest clientel ever & ruined what should have been 1 of the best weekends in our childrens lives. I only wish we had checked out after the 1st night.

now Julie...I promised a review!...
The poor Beechfield hotel we're didn't know what was comin when a gang of Irish girls arrived at the front door all excited!
however from start to finish all the staff were fab!Put up with us and were always so helpful and lovely and great Craic!!!
hotel is a short walk into town even though we cabbed a lot as was only a fiver to flares a great cheesey disco in town!Blackpool is B & B capital but I would highly recommend staying here!Even though there is a 24 hr bar, there is no trouble,It's all very friendly and easy going!
From a room point of view,Its good value, clean,no frills, good brekkie, cocopops hungover are the best!pot noodle behind the bar, lucozade in the fridge helped me survive the weekend!

And...most importantly there is a dance floor. When we arrived and was told my room was across the dance floor, pete couldn't believe how amazed we were by this!Hilarious!
I went away with a great group of people, and stayed in a great place in fab Blackpool!
Thank You So Much,Emily had a ball and so Did the whole gang!!

Room Tip: Family rooms bigger, triple fairly small
