“New Year at the Beechfield Hotel”
Reviewed 2 January 2014

We have just returned from spending New Year at the Beechfield Hotel in Blackpool. We had an excellent New Years eve and the whole 4 days were brilliant.

Julie and the staff couldn't do enough for you and the atmosphere was really good. Darren the owner was also on hand and took part in all the entertainment that they had put on for the festive break and they all made everybody feel welcome.

The food was also very good and enough of it and if you didn't like what was on offer they would make you something else.

We have met some very nice people and hope to keep in touch with some of them and we have already booked for next New Year

We stayed at The Beechfield between Xmas and New Year, it was busy and lots going on Cabaret, Bingo quizzes etc. Its not the most modern Hotel but has everything you need for a short break, the staff are very helpful cant do enough to help, car parking is good there is also a secure car park across the road which is not to expensive. The food was fantastic and Julie is a lovely host. There is also a games room if you like Darts etc. Would highly recommend it.

Room Tip: Book early if you want a room on the ground floor. We were on the second floor nice and quiet

We stayed at the beechfield hotel and although it was very quiet, not many people staying there I must say that we had a brilliant time.
Our room was a lovely spacious double with wet room shower room.
The hotel isnt the most modern hotel but for the price you cant complain theres a pool table, dart board, and big plasma screen tvs in each room.
The staff cannot do enough for you breakfast is excellent, easy taxi service free of charge to ring in the reception and decent price to town center around 5pound!
Again another good thing is that it is quite close to everything all the local attraction blackpool tower, sealife, and many more.
Overall we will stay again hopefully next year, just one peice of advice if your going to blackpool in december then wrap up warm the wind is bitter cold!
Hope this helps!
Thank you.

When we arrived, we had trouble parking the car because there was hardly any room. Then we checked in, and the woman behind the desk was short and didn't seem bothered about making us feel welcome. She just told us to sign in and off we went.
The rooms. What can I say about them...they were average standard, and it didn't take long to realise that you can hear other peoples conversations in the surrounding rooms through the walls. I'm not talking a slight mumble. I could hear clear as day a mother washing their childs hair in the bathroom two doors down and the arguements from next door.
There was a man who was welcoming, and he seemed to know a lot about the local attractions which was great, and that is all that I can think of that's positive.
Overall, it was an average 2nd stay in Blackpool and I definitely would reccommend The Tudor Hotel over this place any day.

I have already written a review for this hotel but it seems to have disappeared and was not published don't know why... But let me start again What a fantastic hotel, had a reunion here with some Army buddies at the end of November, the staff could not do enough for us. It was like a home from home special thanks to our hostess, Julie who made us so welcome! didn't see a lot of Blackpool didn't have much cause to leave the Beechfield as the facilities at the hotel are first class, a warm and homely public area ideal for meeting up with friends and family. A well stocked bar we had a disco and buffet in the evening and not forgetting the karaoke where Julie was a star and could easily have been the 5th member of Take That. A great place to hold a party for family or friends I would highly recommend it.

Room Tip: Book early to avoid disappointment

A well located hotel run by a friendly, helpful team of staff who really look after you. The rooms we stayed in had recently been refurbished and were warm and comfortable. Good food and entertainment laid on and everyone of us had a good time. As there were 27 in our group, that's no mean feat to pull off. We will definitely return.
