We booked this hotel based on location and it had off road private parking. on arrival the staff were really friendly and down to earth. the place was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed in the room. We spent the day and night in blackpools main attractions so didnt use the hotel bar really .. well until we got in at 2am where we had a nightcap with the lady on the bar and another couple staying. I have to say they really are the most welcoming and relaxed staff i have seen on a stay over (in a good approachable way). The hotel wasnt noisy despite people being able to enter late late we werent disturbed at all and the bed was very comfy.
In the morning the breakfast was delicious (and inc in price £65 for both of us) and the servers could not do enough for us with extra toast etc being available.
I highly recommend this place and we will definatley be staying again very very soon we hope.

Great location - close to walk to the station and the tower. Most of Blackpool is scummy and a bit scary to walk around at night but this area wasn't too bad, and was only £5 in a taxi from the train station/main nightlife area (I definitely recommend a taxi at night). The rooms were cheap but basic and a little dated - especially the bathrooms (though the shower did get hot enough and have decent pressure). The only amenities provided were soap and toilet paper so make sure you bring your own shampoo. Breakfast was similarly basic with terrible undrinkable instant coffee and cheap low quality ingredients - but at least it was free. The thing that irked me the most is that even though you can book online through third party booking sites you still need to ring them and provide your credit card details to them over the phone to secure the booking which is both unsafe and inconvenient... but at least the room was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable, and the price was very competitive.

Room tip: Try to get a room away from the bar if you want a good night sleep

2 day break. Staff were really friendly and could not do enough for us. Great location as only 5 minute walk to tower. Rooms were clean and presented well.
Breakfast was not great but the serving staff were really lovely.
Would stay again and would recommend.

The Beechfield Hotel is situated a few hundred metres from Blackpool’s golden mile.

It is ideally situated for access to theatres, restaurants, pubs, clubs, amusements and The Tower, in fact, everything one comes to Blackpool for!
There is a large, private car park adjacent to The Hotel.

When we arrived, we were greeted, immediately, by John, who welcomed us with kindness and courtesy.
We were taken to our room, and were struck by how bright, airy, scrupulously clean and perfect it was for our purpose, which was a theatre visit.

We had a nice meal, then went to see a superb musical at The Opera House; “Beautiful”.

We were back in our room ten minutes after the performance ended, having easily walked there and back.

After a good night’s sleep, in a comfortable bed with clean, white, bed linen, we went downstairs for a breakfast of variety.
Both hot and cold choices and plentiful tea, coffee and toast.

There are no phones in the rooms, but who needs them these days!
Free WiFi is also readily available.
Clean towels and soap were provided, along with tea and coffee, and there was a hair dryer.
The TV worked well and had plenty of channels. The en-suite bathroom was clean and hygienic.

The price was appropriate and reasonable.

Overall, a warm welcome from Julie, John and their team, and an establishment that we would recommend to anyone wanting an excellent, no frills, place to stay.

We will be back again before too long, probably for another theatre visit.

Good: top service, top breakfast, good location, nice play room, car parking.

Bad: overpriced, bathrooms (no shampoo, poor finish), rooms (small for a family, no ironing in the rooms, no phone, no tissues, no daily linen change or tidying), another room card opened my room door!
