We loved the lay out of the reception rooms, complete with bar, pool table, dartsboard, sun lounge and dining area.
We booked 2 rooms, the larger doubles with the seaview. The rooms are a nice size, except both rooms had issues with doors opening into the room. Room 1, the bathroom door was unable to open fully because of the bed and room 2's entrance door wouldnt open fully either. The sinks are far too large for the tiny bathroom and could easily/cheaply be replaced as they both had cracks in ... for smaller ones.
The shower pressure was ok but were forever flicking hot and cold.
However this review may seem quite harsh but it really isn't as bad as it seems.
We enjoyed the hosts company, we were made to feel very welcome and the rooms were tastefully decorated and were warm and cosy ...we'd go back again without a doubt, those bad points didnt detract from our stay whatsoever.
The breakfast had a small 9am-9:30am window, but it was a lovely english fry-up ... needed some black pudding to finish it off though :0)More
