We (myself & my boyfriend) stayed for a short mid week break (Sunday-Wednesday). It was very reasonably priced & included a hearty full English breakfast. I cant comment on the dinner as we always ate out but it seemed very reasonably priced & would have been tasty ( going by the breakfast standards). The hotel itself was well situated, near to the north pier & not far away from a tram stop. It was very (very) clean, our bathroom was cleaned everyday & they also replaced the towels on a daily basis. The tea & coffee tray was well stocked & there was plenty of milk too. I would recommend taking a bottle of juice for the mornings as you only get a small glass of juice with breakfast...not good if you are very dehydrated!...although if asked im sure they would provided more!! The hosts couldn't have been any nicer & attentive. They knew the area well, giving us some insider knowledge on the area I.e the best places to eat, drink, visit etc. we had visited the pleasure beach & got absolutely soaked! They offered to launder our clothes for us & returned them the next day, which was beyond the call of duty but well appreciated! The only thing that could have been better was the bell for breakfast! The breakfast room opens @ 9 a.m every morning & the host sounds a bell to signify this! I understand why they do it...time constraints etc but if you didn't order a breakfast the night before, you were pretty much getting woken up @ that time regardless! Apart from that i had a lovely 1st visit to Blackpool & if I ever returned I would probably stay here! Thanks for an excellent stay! X

there were 9 of us in our party staying for 4 nights. with the 5 kids trying the hopitality on offer to the limit the hosts were absolutely fantastic and surprisingly never once looked like they were going to go and have a lie down in a very dark room!!
the location is very central and ideal for getting to all the major attractions....the road its situated on is quite busy but never that noisy.
there are plenty of pubs locally including one which looks like the sort of place best avoided unless you dress like a dosser and like to keep 1 pint goin all day.the name? sorry cant do that but it has a maternal name....when you visit you will know which one i mean.
anyway back to the valentine....gr8 rooms! gr8! hosts! gr8 value!....dont hesitate to stay here....you wont be dissapointed

Room Tip: just ask!!

We have stayed at this hotel for years prior to Tony and Steve taking ownership. However under the wonderful management of Tony and Steve the Hotel is spotless, the rooms have been refurbished to a very high standard. The breakfast and evening meal were perfect. Tony and Steve are wonderful hosts and we wish them continued success with the hotel and look forward to returning soon.
Every time we stay at the hotel Tony and Steve ensure that we have a fantastic break
