Reviewed 26 August 2014

Stayed here last night, we didn't spend much time here as we were out and about until evening then had to shoot off after breakfast, but we were really impressed with everything. Service great, people lovely and hotel clean, cosy and welcoming. Brilliant :-)

Weve just stayed here for 2 nights. We had 2 double rooms and a single. All rooms were excellent decent size, clean and modern decor. The breakfasts were delicouse all the trimmings and the staff were really friendly easy 2 approach and more than happy to help when we asked for advise on the best places to visit. Also the b&b is in a good location close to the pleasure beach and the front strip.
We would deffinatly stay here again :)

Have stayed here probably 7-8 times over the last 10 years. Owners are always really helpful ,good bar prices, excellent brekkie, free parking which is a bonus in this part of Blackpool.Rooms are small but for £22 a night it's really good.As a Blackpool regular this is always the place I try to book, even my mates call it my Blackpool residence when I mention the name!! It's good!

First may I say that the owners of this hotel are lovely people and made us feel very welcome, the lower floor of the hotel was clean and tidy, however the rooms were a let down. Our room was tiny with a double and a single and a tiny space to pass between them, the bed was clean but unfortunately was like a ski slope on one side and a valley on the other, the room itself would benefit from a good spring clean and the bath room had to be approach side on as it was no more than a cupboard, and it too was needing a good clean. That being said the breakfast was good and although I did not sleep at all during our stay my wife in the bed valley slept well?? Fantastic customer service shame it was let down by the lack of attention to detail.

Room Tip: Avoid room 2 at all costs

What a lovely, friendly B&B this is, Steve and Karen could not be more helpful. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and all with an en-suite. There were seven of us staying including our eight year old daughter, so the bar was really great to be able to relax in after a long journey, there were even toys for the kids. In the morning we had a choice of cereal, toast and a full English breakfast, orange juice, milk, tea and coffee. We weren't made to feel rushed even though the B&B was quite full, a very nice start to the day. We will definitely be staying there again when we go back to Blackpool.

I recently stayed in this hotel with my girlfriend, both under 25, for 3 nights Monday to Thursday. On the first day they allowed us to park at the hotel at 9am and our room was ready for us to put our bags in right away, well before the actual check in time of 2pm which was great. The hotel is in a fantastic location within a few 100 yards of pleasure beach, sandcastle water park and south pier. Considering the fact that it was close to all these things the noise levels at night were non existent and we could sleep with the window open without being disturbed. The couple who run the hotel were really friendly and were happy to have a chat and give us advice about our planned activities. They were very accommodating when we asked if we could have breakfast earlier than the usual time one morning so that we could make it in time for the opening time of the water park. The bar offers drinks at prices that were cheaper than the other pubs around Blackpool which was good. On the last day of our trip the check out time shown online was 10 but they were pretty flexible and allowed us until half 10 at no extra charge. We really enjoyed our stay and would return here without needing to look at other hotels. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends who are looking to have a short stay in Blackpool.
