We stayed at a time when it rained constantly so most of our nights were spent hold up in the room. We were in the attic room which was big, two rooms with washing facilities, however the ceiling slants dramatically so if you are tall you will struggle. However it was cozy and the view of the tower was dramatic.

We found both the owners really helpful, I can see they may come accross as eccentric, but they gave us advice on buses, places to go and free passes. Breakfast was more than adequate for the price and the place was clean, they even let us order in Chinese on a coupke of nights and lent us plates and forks for our room.

Summerville bed and breakfast stayed at this guest house for 1 night very friendly gentleman did not see much of his wife. The gentleman would help you with anything down to directions, where to park and cafe's etc. Only bad comment was it would be nice to be able to have a choice of either scrambled egg, fried or poached egg and also a jug of fresh juice and not a thimble. Also the cereals would be better if they were a better make. Mattress was not very comfortable as well.Overall very friendly bed and breakfast

We arrived on the 20th for a week stay and from the moment we arrived we knew it was going to be a good week.

The owners David and Avril could not have been more helpful, they recommended bars, cafe´s restaurants etc supplied a map and marked off where everything was and also gave us a discount card for some of the clubs and disco´s.

Our friend rang to ask if they had a spare single for one night so we could all go out on the town and Avril was so nice she only had a twin available but only charged the single rate, how nice is that .

The breakfasts were spot on, cereal of your choice, followed by traditional fry up with toast and jam, mamalades etc.....orange juice and huge pot of tea or coffee...

Loved it and will be retuning next year......can´t wait

Terrible!! Stayed for 3 nights and hated every minute! The rooms are terrible!! The family room was just a health risk in its self banging ur head every 2 mins tryin to stand up! The double room was so small u cudnt hardly walk in it! The service from the old woman who lives there was horrible!! We felt like we wasnt welcome at all!! The guy was okay! I would not recommend anyone to stay here!! Also it needs massive refurbishment! There are loads of hotels on the strip so avoid at all costs!! N the breakfasts were disgustin so we left them n ate out!

Stayed here last night and was very impressed with the helpfulness of the owners from parking our car to helping us with our directions to banks, pubs, concert venue etc.

The location for the Winter Gardens is excellent.

The hotel is a very traditional Blackpool B&B with many features to get all nostalgic over. It also charged nostalgic prices!

Definitely stay again.
