“Good Blackpool small hotel”
Reviewed 5 November 2013

Stayed two nights and it ticked all the boxes. Yes rooms are on the small side, having said that he gave me a free upgrade from single to double so it was more than big enough for one but I could see it been seen as smallish for two but what do you want? You only sleep there! Exceptionally clean and good security, you need a key and a code to get in the hotel. As others have said breakfast is great. Perfect for a short stay in Blackpool. 5 minutes from the tram and 10 minute walk to pleasure beach if that's your thing. I'd recommend it and will be back.

This was our first trip to Blackpool and we couldn't have found a better place to stay. The host and hostess were extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly. The whole hotel was clean, comfortable, and homely, we had a family room and it was plenty big enough. Only a two minute walk from the tram stop and the Pleasure Beach. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. We will definitely stay there again.

The landlord of this hotel seems to be a bit of a conman. We looked at the internet and saw the price of the room was £55 per night so we phoned the hotel and he said for £80 a night we could have a big room so we agreed to book 3 night stay, but after 2 day we had to cancel 1 night. Now the price was £90 a night. The room was not a big one, infect we looked on the internet and the hotel does not have a BIG double room. Its room type (ONE SINGLE) (TWO SMALL DOUBLE) and (TWO FAMILY ROOMS). My advice to anyone it is cheaper to book on the internet better than talk to the landlord. Also, the bedding was a bit smelly but the he put the problem right for us. The breakfast was great its a pity the room was not as BIG.
Also the shower was very poor and small, i could pee faster than cliffton shower

You couldn't wish for a better welcome from the host Graham. Extremely helpful and friendly. A relatively small hotel, clean and well cared for. Bar available. Rooms were fairly small but adequate. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough. Fantastic breakfast. No need for Lunch!

Good location near the pleasure beach at the south end of Blackpool. less than 5mins walk to a tram stop so very convenient.

2 Grandparents + G/children enjoyed an excellent small family run hotel. Every one of the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Our family room was small but very adequate for our short stay. It was immaculate with some very thoughtful touches. The breakfast was superb and helped us to set off for a very busy day! We will certainly stay there again.

My wife and I had a very pleasant night at this charming little personal hotel. On our arrival, Graham did his utmost to make us feel welcome and recommended a fantastic Indian restaurant for our evening meal. Our room was clean and warm with a very comfortable bed and good quality bedding. Very friendly staff and a lovely breakfast in a bright airy dining room. If visiting Blackpool again I would not hesitate to return to this hotel.

Room Tip: For a good deal phone Graham direct.

My partner and i have just had our annual trip to the Clifton Court and once again the stay was faultless. Graham the host is great, very welcoming with lots of good recommendations on things to see and do. The room was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The bed had been replaced since our last stay and wow, it was so comfy! The Breakfast is award winning and rightfully so. The quality of the cooked breakfast was superb and the choice of items on the cold buffet is vast. The service staff are also very friendly and efficient. The bar area is great, you'd be hard pressed to find a better stocked bar anywhere! Overall this hotel is fantastic, we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else and would highly recommend trying it.
