“Great place to stay if you're on a tight budget”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 August 2013

As we were on a tight budget for this years holiday we decided to go for a a familiar break in Blackpool. This venue was ideal in price and location - within walking distance of the promenade. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and their first concern was making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, The room was functional but we didn't require a huge space as this was only a base to sleep in every night and the breakfast was great. Very clean and comfortable and we would definitely return on any future visits.

thats the plan if your on a tight budget and looking for quality then here is the place im so glad you paid the extra fiver for breakfast as it would have filled you for most of the day. because weve gone down on our prices we have not sacrificed the quality or cleanliness.
thank you for your revue. hope to be seeing yous again.

this b&b is fantastic value, close enough to the seafront but far enough away to avoid all the noise at night. it is very clean and comfortable especially my room which was spotless (and i have stayed in some grim places lol) The staff are very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. it's ideally located and priced for a cheap base for your trip to blackpool. i would definitely recommend and will return in the future. credit where it's due!!!

I stayed at this hotel from 16/8/2013 to 18/8/2013 for my hen weekend along with 17 other ladies, we couldn't have asked for anything better, Stuart is the nicest man you could ever wish to meet, nothing was to much trouble for him, he bent over backwards to make our stay the best ( and it was ) the rooms were very clean and comfortable, the food was excellent, and everything you wanted he went out and fetched if he didn't already have it, he was fun and joined in with us, I will defiantly stay hear again, ( sorry Stu but you will see me again )
I HIGHLY RECCOMEND ANYONE TO BOOK THIS HOTEL AS YOU COULDNT WISH FOR ANYTHING BETTER !!, his friend Frank was also very friendly and joined in, top blokes they are!!,
All my love Yvonne xx

Room Tip: room 7 sleeps 5 and we had a view of the tower EXCELLENT

We chose this hotel based on the good reviews and ratings, as well as the great value. We started off thinking this was good value, as the rooms were decent and clean. We got a nice vegetarian breakfast for a small charge too. Our views changed drastically however on the last night. The locks on the doors were Yale locks with a latch, which means the door should not close if the latch is on. Somehow the door closed with the latch on, and we had to pay £35 for the damage caused when Stuart broke the door frame to enter the room as the poorly fitted lock had shut and locked us out. It looked like this has happened before, as the door frame was already replaced prior to our stay. The other room's door would not shut properly until it was banged shut. Other issues was a leaking toilet, a shower that would randomly stop for a few seconds. The area wasn't great, but suited us and was what you would expect for the price. So overall started off ok and ended on a low. This place needs updating as we have had no problems with any of the numerous locks in other BnBs/hotels.

Well what can i say you were very pleasant people while here until you dropped the latch on the yale lock leaving the only option for me to chisel the lock, the least costly option for you! as it was your fault! and yes the husband did try to blackmail me at the time with putting a bad revue on trip advisor over you being charged £35.00. the repair bill £45.
also you say you were charged for your nice vegetarian breakfasts this is a lie there was no extra charges during your stay other than the lock.
and i do apologise for the slight leak from the sink (not the toilet) i was not aware of this until the guest after you told us, and the plumber is on his way. a temporary repair was done on the lock so you could sleep with peace of mind. but a weak lock is not acceptable here hence the repair being ordered. shower stopping ? ive had a look and cant find any problems, we made a mistake with our pricing when you booked rather than canceling you got £80 off the price you should have paid, which is likely why you told us to our face this is the nicest b n b you have stayed in until you had to put your hand in your pocket! However on the upside! you had a great time at the pakistani wedding and free vegetarian breakfast was nice! 4 people 2 nights at hostel rates. Thanks.

Courteous, helpful, friendly and diligent staff. High quality, clean accommodation and facilities only 500m from the main promenade, trams and buses at the nice end of town. Our well-trained, small dog was permitted to sleep over which was perfect for our last minute one night stay. Good value accommodation and full breakfast. Frank and Stuart made us all feel safe and well looked after. We had a triple room with en-suite, TV and tea making facilities.Parking is an additional cost but again close-by with CCTV and easily accessed with a short walk from the hotel. Thank you for a hassle-free stay. Highly recommended.
