We have just returned from our third weekend stay at The Laurels,we would like to thank Sue and Colin for being the perfect hosts. This B&B is spotlessly clean, cosy and warm with comfortable beds and the breakfast is first class.Nothing is too much trouble for Sue and Colin and all our needs were catered for.We would not stay anywhere else, 10 out of 10 for Sue andColin.

Room Tip: We always book the premier double, it's spacious and has a separate little sitting room, which ha...

It was good to meet and greet you both again and it seemed as though you had only just left from your last time here.
As usual you never stood still from the moment you arrived until your eventual departure
as you were busy ferrying your granddaughters to the dancing event at The Winter Gardens.
You brought with you a very special video which was an account of your new home being assembled and watched with great interest and were amazed at the speed and efficiency in which it was completed, a lovely new home to share and enjoy, good luck to you both.
Well done to the girls for all the hard work and to keep up with your dancing practice and for your grandson to keep working at his gymnastics.
We enjoyed very much your company and look forward to when we meet yet again.

Warm regards,
Colin & Sue.

We found The Laurels very easily using the post code in the sat nav, Parking was easy although we where lucky and parked in the street directly opposite, parking was a small hassle as there is restrictions in the street but there is car park a short walk round the back, you have to pay for this but this is the same for all the establishments in the area.
There was a very warm welcome with the hosts taking time to make sure we were settled in nicely and providing us with everything we needed including a nice cup of tea after a long journey.
The rooms where clean and warm with tea and coffee making facilities, and telly/hair dryers etc.
Beds where comfortable and warm (weather was bitter) and the room was quiet, breakfast was served between 08:45 and 09:15 a choice was offered and it was more than enough and good quality served up with a healthy dollop of friendly banter from the hosts.
Our second night was more of the same which was exactly what I wanted, the hosts really did go as far as they could to make sure we where happy.
To summarise, warm welcome, clean, quiet, good food, good value, good location, hosts really made an effort, would I stop again? Yes, no question.

We would like to thank you for the generous comments placed and to say that we enjoyed your company and especially the banter at breakfast time on the ocassion of your stay at the laurels.
Not to be deterred, your family made the most of the time you had to enjoy the resorts attractions even though the weather was not at it's best as you had to endure the cold winds.
It is unfortunate that we only have limited parking to the front of the premises however, the pay and display to the rear can be accessed within minutes and provides secure parking at a modest cost.
We were pleased that your rooms were comfortable and that the breakfast choice was satisfactory and met with your requirements.
It is hoped that you would consider us in any future visits to the resort.
So, until the next time ,take care.

Warm regards,
Colin & Sue

This was my third stay at the Laurels and Sue and Colin were just as welcoming as before and made my stay most enjoyable. As before, the Laurels is spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was a joy to use which, combined with a delicious breakfast, made a great start to the day ahead. Despite having to disturb them at midnight to let me in and spilling orange juice on the table at breakfast, they say that I can stay again next year and I will certainly be back. You won't find a better B&B in Blackpool. Thank you so much, Sue and Colin.

Fondest wishes, Jeff.

It has been in the past and during your most recent visit a complete pleasure and one which we both hope will be repeated again and again.
We found you to be a kindly and courteous guest and if i am permitted to say you have become
a friend rather than a guest.
Knowing you i am sure you have a good sense of humour, just read on.
Now about that early morning rise dear guest/friend, it never even entered my mind to charge you for the inconvience as moments like this occur quite regularly, food for thought though.
How much could i charge within reason !
Well now about the spillage, or deluge which on getting my wellies set about mopping this up, it was a few drops of a full tumblerful, hard work indeed, just a moment while i mop my brow.
After 2 hours we were done and to be fair on reflection you would not have known that anything had happened at all.
So finally, no orange juice for you unless you sign an agreement that this won't happen again ,ever, HA HA!
Please don't be put off by my nicety as you are too valuable to lose..
Come back soon as you will be missed if you don't.

Warm regards,
Colin & Sue

My wife and myself have just returned from a 2 night stay at The Laurels. Colin and Sue are simply the nicest people you are likely to meet. Nothing too much trouble for either of them and made our weekend extra special. Superb location 2 minute walk to the promenade and same distance to the town centre. We were offered a cup of tea as soon as we walked in and were thoroughly looked after for our whole stay. We would not stop anywhere else on our visits to Blackpool from now on and being able to park on their drive was a huge bonus. The guest house was spotlessly clean and the obvious pride they both show in their guest house and their guests was really refreshing.

A very big thank you from us and to say that we were really pleased that your stay was such a pleasant and enjoyable one.
It has to be said that you both as guests made our time with you very enjoyable and look forward to having the privilege of meeting you again in the future.
It is hoped that the return leg of the match between Fleetwood v Newport will be kinder to you
with the hope of a better result.
Take care and all the very best to you both.

My husband and I have been to Blackpool for a weekend for the last 10 years and this is the nicest place we have stayed in. It was just behind the tower, 2 minutes from the town centre. We were met at the door and welcomed by two lovely people Sue and Colin. They couldn't do enough for us, a cup of tea when we first arrived, luggage taken to our rooms, breakfast was exceptional and a lovely clean hotel. It was a pleasure to stay there and we definitely will stay again. Thanks Sue and Colin for making our visit special x x

Thank you for your review which was lovely and glad that you had a good time on the occasion
of your !0 birthday.
Not that the weather was kind to you all but that didn't hinder you one bit.
There was a drama regardng your birthday present being mislaid, but after a little searching by ourselves the earring was found and has now been forwarded to you via post.
Hope to see you all again soon.

As we've experienced here before fabulous service and very high standard of room. Colin and Sue are perfect hosts. We will be back soon!
One thing I would have benefitted from is a 3/4 mirror- but that's girls for you:)

What a nice surprise to see you both again and to thank you for your recent post.
We will of course take on board your suggestions regarding the mirror for the ladies and
hope that your stay was otherwise to your satisfaction.
Looking forward to when we next meet.

The moment we arrived we were greeted by two of the loveliest people we have ever met, Sue and Colin, who made us feel very welcome. My partner has been to Blackpool many times and it was my first time and we could not of stayed in a nicer B&B. The rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy, a perfect size and were decorated tastefully so it felt like a home away from home. The rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels provided. In the morning we were served a very generous breakfast which set us up perfectly for the day! The Laurel's is the perfect distance from the main promenade, a stroll away but still far enough away that you don't hear any of the noise. We will not hesitate about staying there again and i can honestly say it made my first time in Blackpool even more amazing :)

Thank you both for your recent post which we always look forward to as it gives us a sense of how we are performing and what we need to do improve on.
As this was a first ever visit to Blackpool by your other half we were happy that you were impressed and had a great time, so much so that you have assured us that you will be making a return in the future.
We are happy that your stay was comfortable and that you were satisfied overall with everything.
All the best to you both for the future.
