On arrival at The Berkswell we were made very welcome by Teresa. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a real treat and the times of 9.00 - 9.45 was ideal. The evenings in the bar were fun and the children really rated being allowed to play on the Wii which meant the adults could have a proper conversation. Teresa went out of her way to advise us where to go, what to see and looked up information on the Internet for us. All in all a great stay and great value for money! I would recommend this guest house to friends and family alike. :o)

Phil was very nice, Teresa was ok.......B&B was way to warm, sickly in fact, room wasnt very clean, hairs in the sink, beds and sheets were clean, we were 20 mins late for breakfast as we had 3 children to get ready and had a late night the night before, Teresa didnt look to best pleased and i caught her pulling a face when my 2 eldest children walked in the breakfast room (ages 5 & 3), cutlery was dirty, our eldest son tried to help her by passing a plate to her and she snapped at him....FINAL STRAW we wasnt stayin there another night, we were lookin for somewhere else to stay for the last night....only we had a family emergancy and had to go home early anyway..no mention of a refund!!!

We stayed here for one night as my son's 10th birthday and wanted to visit the Pleasure Beach. Great location, clean, warm, comfortable rooms, very welcoming, excellent breakfast with plenty of food on offering. Thankyou for the birthday card for Thomas and the Blackpool teddy! much appreciated.

On arrival to Blackpool, we thought it would take hours to choose from the wide selection of B & Bs on offer, however the choice was made easier by the Berkswell's great curb appeal. Phil welcomed us, took our luggage up to our room, and showed us to the free parking space. The Berkswell is a lovely bed and breakfast with plenty of useful information on the area to hand. Bar was well stocked and drinks a good price, before heading into town for the evening Phil sat and chatted to us, we even had a game of wii in the living room which was fun. Ok the bedroom was quite small but for the price it didnt worry us at all. Breakfast was lovely and I was very sad to leave. Will definately return.
