Teresa and Phil were quite welcoming, helped with bags and had saved a parking space at the back for our arrival. The rooms are quite small and well packed into the building, the ensuite are even smaller, and Teresa did say Visit England did question the use of folding doors on these but I don’t see how any other door could be used and still enable you to move around the room as well as access the bathroom. Both however were clean.
They have toys and games for children to play with in the lounge/bar, and there is a relaxed friendly atmosphere in here.
The location is great for the pleasure beach (buy the wrist bands online before you come), Teresa and Phil told us about the firework display when we arrived so we managed to see this as we walked along the front.
The only issue we had was breakfast, our children had cereal and toast on the first day, so didn’t have the cooked breakfast on offer, on the second day however one of them wanted bacon, sausage and beans, but couldn’t have this. The children’s breakfast for some reason doesn’t include bacon, and even though we didn’t want the egg or fried bread it does include, there was no way the waitress would agree to bacon; unfortunately she was so insistent in this it made our child feel they shouldn’t be eating bacon at all, so even when we offered some of our plate they didn’t want to eat it as they thought they would get into trouble. This happened on our last morning and was a shame really as the rest of our stay here had been pleasant.
