My husband and I have just returned today from a weekend break at the Delton Hotel. The owners and staff are very helpful and accommodating, Keith at the bar kept us amused with conversation. The hotel itself was very clean, the room was lovely albeit a small en-suite but it was suitable for our needs. Had a great sleep in room 16 the bed was very comfortable (better than mine at home :) ). The breakfast is served between 9am and 10am and you were served in about 5 minutes fantastic service, top-ups of coffee tea and toast if required and catering staff were very friendly. The actual hotel is only about two minutes from the train station if you prefer that to driving. The drinks at the bar were only £3 for a branded spirit double (great night we had on the Friday). It has a pool table in the bar as well. Would definitely stay there again when we go back. It is also right at the end of the South Pier at the back of the Pleasure Beach so a short walk to the rides. Excellent weekend thank you to Keith and all the staff.

Room Tip: Room 16 had a view of the Pepsi Max Big One ride but not too noisy as to disturb you. Very comforta...

Had a great overnight in this hotel. The owners were very friendly and we were made very welcome. Rooms were clean and tidy and suited our needs for our visit to Blackpool. The bar was also clean and tidy and very spacious. prices were very reasonable, im sure most people would be happy with the range of drinks and again were made very welcome by the owners. There is also a Tv room, however we never spent any time in there. Breakfast was well cooked and well presented, and there is a good selection of cereals available. The young lady who attended us at breakfast was very friendly and polite. Ideally situated next to the Pleasure Beach and only a few minutes walk from the nearest tram stop making access to the rest of the attractions very accessible. I would have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone as this will be the first hotel i phone on my next visit to Blackpool. Our thanks go out to Keith and his family for making our time in Blackpool all the more enjoyable.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at this hotel. Walked in on sepc and we were accommodated very quickly with little fuss at all by a very helpful man. Room very clean if a little compact, breakfast nice served by very pleasant young girl. The only down side was the very noisy people next door who it seemed were participating of adult fun most of the night and early morning, and the fighting hen party in the street from another local hotel. As neither of these thing are under the control of the hotel, we would stay again.

to be fair although this hotel is dated, it is really clean and well kept. the downfall for me was when I ordered a cup of tea at the bar and asked for a little real milk - rather than the UHT cartons that they supply in the room. I was told that they only had enough for breakfast and directed to the nearest shop !!! This was about 8:30pm so plenty of time for a member of staff to be asked to bring in extra in the morning or something, and I offered to pay extra for it :0(

We returned to this hotel for a 3 night stay over the bank holiday. The hotel was busy with a group attending and participating in an under 13 football tournament.
The room was clean and comfortable, though if you like a feather pillow then take your own (we did last time but forgot this), had a side sea view and forward view onto the Big Blue hotel and roller coaster.
Breakfast was good, plenty and nicely cooked/presented. We didn't have an evening meal here.
The bar was reasonably priced and all public rooms were clean. They fitted my daughter and her children in at the last minute (24 hours before) but didn't have room for my son and his family who stayed next door (The Silversands) but they were welcomed when they joined us in the bar.
Staff were nice and friendly. Tram stop just minutes away and right next door to the Pleasure Beach - though the entrance is a walk away.
Me and my husband would certainly stay here again and are happy to recommend it, as evidenced by our return - we wouldn't stay here twice if we didn't like it. It's a reasonably priced Blackpool B&B, you don't get the Ritz at these prices but it's good value for money.

We've just stayed at the Delton with a party of 25 on a football tournament weekend, 10 parents & 15 14-15 year boys - Couldn't really fault the hotel nothing too much trouble for Keith, food was good, rooms clean and tidy bar and pool table available which was extensively used over the weekend. Hotel location is spot on 5 minutes Pleasure Beach/Sandcastle, I'd have no hesitation in staying again either on a visit to Blackpool or in a group.

We have stayed at the Delton for a number of years (usually as part of a group) for long weekends. The place and rooms are always spotless, and the breakfast second to none. The staff and owners have always been pleasant polite and helpful. The hotel is great value for money and an ideal location for the Pleasure Beach (our reason for visiting). Each year, our group seems to be expanding and not once has any of our group had cause for concern or any reason not to want to use the hotel the following year.

I look forward to visiting again next year.
