We have stayed at The Mayfair 4 times since April 2009 after finding it on e-bay. From our first visit we were made to feel very welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. Our son has learning difficulties and on our first visit did not like cups on the table at breakfast. This was no problem for Laura and Jay they brought us our drink when he had finnished his breakfast, luckily he was growing out of it by the time of our second visit in the July.
The breakfast sets you up for the day as there is plenty of it.
The family room is brilliant with on suite shower and toilet.
The evening meals are great, Jay appears not to know what small means.
We stayed over last new year with them the atmosphere was great.
We have stayed with them this Summer and the place gets better and better Jay and Laura are constantly improving the building and hospitality. Laura, Jay and their grown up children Trish and Sean are excellent hosts.
We will be staying with them again this new year and cannot wait.
To Jay and Laura sorry it has taken so long to write this review. How do you put into words what your ideal holiday at home would be like (heaven?) Words cannot express how great a holiday we have staying at The Mayfair. See you at New year.
