Description: For old-school seaside dining at its best you can't beat The Palm Court Restaurant set in the grand old Imperial Hotel on the North Promenade in Blackpool. This traditional restaurant is in walking distance to all of Blackpool's popular attractions, and the dining room – with its chandeliers, burnt orange walls, crisp linens and plush carpet – is perfect for celebrating special occasions and there is a raised seating area within The Palm Court Restaurant that enjoys stunning sea views. Expect classic dishes such as the salmon and asparagus roullard with salad and herb and lemon dressing; the braised beef steak with roasted root vegetables and port and shallot sauce; and the vegetable and bean casserole topped with herb scones.

“Mother's Day Break”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 March 2013

We had a wonderful meal in the evening in beautiful surroundings sat by the window. The waiter was helpful and friendly and the meal itself was delicious.

We had breakfast their in the morning and their was an abundance of choice to suit everyone. Once again the staff were helpful and friendly and the food was hot and delicious.

We would recommend the restaurant to anyone.

“mother's day break”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 March 2013

Hotel staff were warm, welcoming and friendly and helful. Hotel room was clean, comfortable had all amenities and warm with wonderful sea view. Food was excellent and hotel itself was beautiful both inside and out. Nothing I disliked but would go when there are special offers because of the price.

“Excellent meal and Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 February 2013

We ate in the hotels Palm Court restaurant on Friday night, which in my view deserves an AA rosette or two, if it has not already got them. The food was excellent, and the three courses set meal was staggeringly good value, at £19, considering the quality of the setting and the food. Excellent service in the restaurant all appeared proud of their hotel and knowledgeable about both the hotels history and Blackpool in general. They really do deserve some kind of medal or award.

“Restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 February 2013

Dined at the palm restaurant after receiving a complementary meal. I didn't have high expectations, however the food was good quality, well cooked with decent size portions. And the staff were helpful and polite. Only disappointment was the decor. Tired and dated with a large patch of crumbling, broken plaster overhead. Needs a refurb ASAP.

“70's style”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 February 2013

Olde world, 70's style. Poor lighting, so make sure you get a table over by the window. I had breakfast there and have no complaints about the service or the food. The staff were friendly and accommodating, but the ambience let it down. It's drab and boring.
