An excellent location just a few minutes stroll from the sea front, with a very welcoming atmosphere. The hotel and rooms and tastefully decorated to a very high standard and the hotels hosts are 2 of the most genuine hoteliers me and my partner have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Nothing was too much trouble, and they went out of their way to make you feel like you are valued. The breakfast each morning was a delight and always fresh and piping hot. All in all I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a more refined and personal BB. After staying in some hell holes in Blackpool, this little gem has definately restored our faith and we will most certainly be visiting again :)

We've stayed in a lot of hotels and were pleased to have found Terry's boutique-style place. Like much of Blackpool, the hotel is undergoing a programme of yummy improvements prior to the start of the main season - apparently next on the list will be new carpets. We booked a premier room. The bed was probably the best I've ever slept in, bar the super-king size in a 5-star hotel I was once fortunate enough to stay-over for a couple of nights. We had free wi-fi in our room (the last time we went on holiday down South it cost £5 an hour) and Terry found us free parking (another significant saving, although the parking is limited to first come, first served :-). Both Terry and the equally lovely Scott were helpful in suggesting places to go / things to do. If you can play the piano, come here and finger the keys of a beautifully tuned baby grande which takes pride of place in the breakfast room. I'm still here, as I write this review and will be testing Terry's cocktail making skills very shortly :-0. Oh and if you like Funny Girls etc. it's literally a short stroll down the road and around the corner. Blackpool itself is undergoing a lovely transformation - the seafront looks great, with some lovely art pieces scattered around the front and the town centre. If you are coming for a week, I recommend buying the reduced price voucher for all the key entertainments, such as The Tower, Madame Tussaud's etc. However there are lots of free places to go to, including cabaret bars plus the free art gallery which is literally around the corner from Wilcot Hotel. Enjoy.

Room Tip: Premier room was nice.
