Recently stayed here for a week on a coaching holiday and had a fab time. Our room was spacious and clean and the staff were really friendly too .All the meals were good with enough choice for us, the pound bar and evening entertainment were so good weve already booked to come back here in august with the same coach company as have many others have as well. This hotel gives excellent value for money and you can have a weeks holiday here for the price of a meal in a top restaurant back home.Any negative comments about this hotel should be discarded for what you pay but some will always moan and they should pay alot more and go elsewhere.

Stayed at the Harland for a long weekwnd from the 4th to the 7th of May. This hotel is very good value Graham was very helpful, attentive and even went out and got me gluten free food for my special diet. The food was very good with homemade soups and loveley meat joints. The homemade steak pie was excellent (so says my partner) , and the evening meal was 5 courses. Our room was small but clean, the entertainment was good and the £1 bar was even better!! Overall a great weekend beak would deffinately go again.

I didn't think this hotel would be too bad after reading all the glowing reports. Can't understand why there are so many positive reviews about it. I could only find one - bus and tram stops outside the door.

What grieved me most was the 8am check out. A bright orange poster in the run down miserable room read "Rooms must be vacated by 8am on day of departure and all keys must be handed in to reception by 8am". The same poster informed us that breakfast was 8:15am and dinner 5:30pm. I felt as though I was in a jail and not on holiday.

Breakfast - toast and tea already on the table when we arrived. Why assume people always drink tea and eat cold toast.

Hotel should come into the 21st century. It's still stuck in the 1950s or before. Would not recommend this hotel.

Stayed at the Harlands for a weekend in March. Was very good value for money the only reason we would not return is because you have to vacate your room at 8.00am on the day of departure this spoils your last nights stay.Lots of guests went to bed early because of this.Do the hotel owners realise how much money they are losing behind the bar by doing this?
