The welcome by John and Dean couldn't be faulted. Nothing was too much trouble. They could answer questions about local area as well. The room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The food was brilliant. Breakfast couldn't be any better.
We will definitely be back.

Just back from 3 days at The Waves Hotel and what a little gem of a hotel. Great price and excellent food as well as fabulous location just of Gynn Square. The fact that the weather was fantastic also helped. Very family friendly, no sign of any stag or hen parties here

The owner of the hotel is fantastic very friendly and helpful, could not ask for more of an owner.A lovely touch was that there were 2 young girls aged about 3 staying with their parents and Dean the owner, had put down, "cheeky monkey" place mats for them which the girls thought was great. He was also great with them chatting away, nothing was ever too much trouble

Room we had was room 1 which was a double at the front with a great view onto Gynn Square. Room was freshly decorated, very tasteful very comfy bed and pillows and great white fluffy towels in the shower room. The only slight gripe is the location of the TV which is a little too high if you are trying to watch in bed, but that is a very minor irratation

Breakfast was plentiful and freshly cooked. There is a sun lounge at the front as well as a TV room and a couple of benches outside to sit and while the day away.

the location is just off Gynn Square and a 2 minute walk to the Gynn pub which does lovely bar meals and are 2 for the price of 1. A walk into the main part of Blackpool takes around 20 minutes or you can catch a tram ride which takes about 5 minutes

Highly recommended and have booked up again to go back in September

Recieved a very warm and friendly welcome from the hosts John and Dean. Smashing room with a sea view and a very comfy bed.
Great service at breakfast with good choice of cereals or cooked, or both if your that hungry.
It's about a mile or so north of the tower, so a nice walk in along the front or £1.30 on the bus. Free on street parking but if no space, car park over the road is very cheap.
So to sum up, great hosts, great atmosphere, great place to stay.

What a fabulous stay we had! John and Dean are just the friendliest people you will ever meet.

They made our stay so so special and we really did leave as friends. From the minute we walked through the door till the moment we left we were treated like royalty!

Nothing was too much trouble, they were both so helpful and really made us feel so welcome, so much in fact that we didn't want to leave.

The room was lovely and what a view!! The area is so quiet with the hotel adjacent to some beautiful gardens overlooking the sea front. There is also free parking outside. One night we went to a great little Italian restaurant over the road which was recommended by Dean and John. Not too far from the centre of Blackpool, can walk there in 15 mins and a taxi to or from will cost you around £5.

Can't praise this place enough, we came back feeling so refreshed and relaxed and it was all down to John and Dean! How can you go wrong with John, the font of all Blackpool knowledge, he has a leaflet for everything(!) and Dean who cooks the best breakfast in town!

We liked it so much we have already booked for August!!

Fab hotel, and even more fabulous owners!!!!!!!!!xxx

John and Dean couldn't be more welcoming from the day we arrived to the day we left and considering they've only been in the industry for less than a year they certainly know how to treat their guests, as soon as we arrived John made us very welcome and Dean made us a lovely well needed tea and coffee.

Our room was clean and tidy with a welcome pack and the breakfast in the morning was terrific you got your fruit juices and cereals and then a choice of breakfast but I'd definitely recommend the fry up as it is cooked to perfection.

The hotel is located in a quiet street with a park adjacent to it with a crazy golf course, the hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Blackpool or 5 minute tram ride which only cost about £1.60 per adult with the trams and buses literally 2 minutes walk from the front door or you can get a taxi which costs about £5 so if theres more than 3 of you your probably cheaper with a cab.
