Stayed for 3 nights on 23rd October. Me, my mum and daughter Chloe age 7, were made to feel very welcome again on our second visit and will definately be coming back. Breakfast was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Dean & John even let Chloe take their dog Harvey a walk with them. Room was very clean, bed comfortable with Tea & Coffee facilities, but were not used very often as every time you came in, Dean or John offered you a drink. Location very handy for Lights, Tower, promenade, etc, even free parking outside, what more could you want, keep up the good work.

We only stayed the one night 24th Oct (wished we had booked two nights ). The hosts John and Dean were fabulous , and their chocolate labrador Harvey was lovely and friendly. We arrived early which was not a problem as our room was ready and waiting for us. Our room was lovely and clean, and the beds very comfy. After seeing the sights all day and the lights on the night we returned to the hotel and had a few great hours sat in the lounge talking to Dean, John and the other guests. Cooked breakfast was delicious, also plenty of tea/coffee/orange juice, cereals and toast. We would defo recommend the Waves Hotel to everyone, and we will be booking again for next year. Good luck for the future to Dean, John and Harvey. Cant wait to come back. Victoria, Ian and Luke.

We stayed only one night but were met with a warm welcome by John. Myself, my 17 year old stepdaughter, 5 year old son, 10 month old daughter and my mum all stayed and would defo recommend this guest house to everyone. The location was great for getting out and seeing the sights, the rooms were clean and had everything you needed (including some ducks in the shower room for the kids to play with)! The beds were comfortable and we had no problem sleeping. The whole guest house was lovely and warm (we visited at the end of October). The little touches were great down to spiderman & mini mouse placemats for the kids at breakfast! My little boy loved playing with Harvey the dog and is already wanting to return to see him! We will defo be returning to Blackpool in the next year and will be booking this B&B. Dean's breakfast was lovely and John's customer service outstanding, nothing was too much trouble.
Very happy guests: - Tracey, Pauline, Charlotte, Oliver and Megan

On arrival Dean was there to meet us all though we were a little early.Tea and coffee a plenty. Nothing is to much trouble for them. Excellent banter with all guests. Breakfast was delicious especially the local sausages and the toast was aplenty im sure they had a baker in the back...My friends and i cannot wait to visit them again as im sure nothing will be to too much trouble again. Room homely clean bedding and towels and the lounge smelt of cinnamon wonderfull.. Will deffinately be seeing them soon.Good luck Dean and John in everything you do KIM.

Sandra Sheffield. Fantastic warm welcome on arrival. Arrived early, but Dean let us check in anyway, and made us a cuppa. Dean and John are the friendliest hosts ever. Clean rooms and Cooked breakfast was great. Couldn't do enough for us, even called taxis for us. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

I stayed at the hotel for only one night as part of a large family group, including a 2 year and 3 year old child. John made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived and couldnt do enough for us. The rooms were clean, comfortable and relaxing and the location up from the North pier was very quiet. The children in the group enjoyed playing in the lounge and the front room of the hotel and were also made to feel very welcome.
The breakfast and evening meals were a great example of good home cooking and were very filling. Even though we only stayed there for one night we came away feeling as though we had stayed at a friends house. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, especially with children, as they so friendly and accomodating.
