Really nice, homely hotel, owners let us check in early as we had arrived early. Sat and had a chat and told us some great places to eat and go. Would happily return and have recommended to all family and friends.

Returned from a weekend break at the Waves Hotel in Blackpool, and I can honestly say its a fantastic place to stay..

The location is perfect, just a short ten minutes (or so) stroll into town along the front, with plenty of parking outside the hotel, so you don't need to worry about your car while you are there.

John, Dean and Harvey (the dog) are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much trouble. We had a pot of tea made for us on arrival which was really nice. They take an interest in you and your plans for your stay, so if they can help in any way (i.e. with vouchers or tips on where to go), they will. As the sign in the hallway says "arrive as strangers and leave as friends".

The rooms are very clean and tidy, we stayed in Room 1, which has a lovely bay window and sea views.

Dean's breakfasts are great, and really fill you up till lunchtime, with toast-a-plenty and juice/cereals also available.

We are already looking forward to going back sometime next year!!!!

Have just returned from a long weekend (3 nights) at Waves and it was perfect.

John & Dean are the best hosts and always go the extra mile to be friendly and do whatever they can to help. They have a sign in the Hallway "Arrive as Strangers & Leave as Friends" how true this is.

John & Dean were brilliant with our 2 children, and we would certainly recommend this as a great family hotel.

The Breakfasts are really filling, wonderfully cooked and very good quality.

The hotel is situated about a mile from the Tower and is far enough away from the noise of the town center, yet close enough to get there in only a few minutes.

We will certainly go back there when we go to Blackpool next time.

Room Tip: Room 1 for a Double with a view over looking Gynn Square and room 5 for a family

We stayed for 3 nights the room was very clean with tea and coffee facilities. John & Dean made us a pot tea and pot of coffee on our arrival and on our departure. Best breakfast ever, nothing too much trouble. Asked us our plans for the day and printed out bus timetables.
