Day we arrived we received a walm welcome. Very friendly. Hotel very clean and tidy. Our room was clean and very cosy. Bed was comfy. Now for the breakfast! It was brilliant not greasy or oily. Cooked perfectly nothing was to much trouble for dean and John what ever we wanted we received and they were happy to help! We will be back next year but for a longer stay!

I came with my young daughter for a few days to see the illuminations and was made very welcome. John and Dean went out of their way to accomodate my fussy 3 year old. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are the best I have ever had in a hotel. Can't wait to go back!

Just got back from a 2 night stay with wife & 2 kids both 14yrs. From the moment we arrived until will left we were made to feel at home from both John, Dean & Harvey the dog. We had a family room which was clean & tidy with a great view, with everything you need. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice very filling with John entertaining you while Dean done all the work lol. I would highly recommend this B&B absolutely great value for your money. Good location. Would like to take this opportunity to thank John & Dean for making our stay in Blackpool a memorable one. If we ever return to Blackpool this will definitely be the place where we would stop.

Stayed here near the end on July for 3 nights with my girlfriend and 2 kids. From the initial welcome to the day we left John couldn't do enough to help. He was great with the kids(aged 14 & 9) and the youngest just loved Harvey the dog. The breakfasts were more than filling and the location was great - just far enough away from the centre of town so as to avoid most of the noise and the tram stop is a very short walk from the front door. The family rooms we had were clean and larger than I expected. Like most places you could pick faults, but for what we payed we defiantly got more than our money's worth. This place is a wee Jem and would highly recommend it to anyone who was looking for a friendly, clean and value for money place to say..... Hate posting this comment as I want to keep this place to ourselfs and not share it

stayed at waves for 3 nights with my daughter and grandaughter, as soon as we walked through the door john and dean made us very welcome, with tea coffee, our room was very comfortable and clean we slept very well, john and dean make you feel very welcome and went out of there way to make sure our stay was good, breakfast fryup was great, short walk or tram ride to town centre the whole weekend was lovely, i would recomend john and dean's hotel to friends its good if your 1 yr old to 99 sign in hall says enter as strangers leave as friends and this is very true

Stayed at the Waves for 4 nights with friends and it was brilliant! The rooms were great and we had a view of the Tower and the sea so it was really nice to look out. The full English every morning was delicious and John and Dean couldn't have made us feel more welcome! They were friendly and helpful and funny all the time and it couldn't have been more fun! The living room downstairs was great to sit in on a night and watch tv while playing Monopoly (which only got overturned once) or Cheat (where there was a lot of cheating...) or on the ps2 and Cluedo that John and Dean bought so we could all play - and I will never forget that hilarious game of Cluedo! The beds were extremely comfy and the room was clean so no complaints!
The location was perfect by being not too close to the centre yet within easy reach on tram or bus - or we walked down the front sometimes and it didn't take too long, the only downer was the typical rain! John and Dean also told us where all the best deals were for the trams. Our trip was made infinitely better by staying at the Waves and I hope we go back next year and stay again!
