My 11 year old daughter and I stayed here for two nights as a wee treat away from the rest of the gang before she starts high school. As we had never been to Blackpool before I was totally lost with where to begin.
At first we looked at some of the big hotels which all came with high price tags and mixed reviews... Then we came across this wee gem :) after reading the reviews alone in trip advisor I was convinced that we would have a great stay.
We arrived around 10 am dropped our bags off and headed down to the pleasure beach.
The tram stop is right across the road which is great £9 gets you a family all day ticket.
We went to the hot ice show after the pleasure beach closed so arrived back rather late.
We were still greeted with a lovely smile and told that our bags had already been taken up to our rooms - perfect - our twin room was a nice size for the two of us, nicely decorated and very clean.
Breakfast both mornings was great, the young girls were very polite and couldn't do enough to accommodate you.
My daughter ventured through to the bar both nights to get a wee drink before bed on her own, which I never would have allowed had I not been totally comfortable with the feel of the hotel. No hen/stag nights allowed etc so a great nights sleep was guaranteed with no loud groups wondering past your door at 5am.
Over all I can't say enough good things about this hotel. We will be visiting again for sure.
A big thank you to all the staff for a fantastic stay.
