Stayed here recently for convenience , the furniture in the room was more than rickety ! know its an old joke but the tastiest thing on the menu was the gravy stains. The chefs a wizz with a can opener with tinned pots day after day ,food is repetitive and borders on the abysmal.Bar prices are very high for Blackpool.Table organisation in the restaurant is a shambles and you find yourself bouncing up and down with the constant movement of people brushing past.my last visit I think!

My wife and I have just spent the weekend in the Norbreck and we will not return until certain changes are made, our first room had a fire escape right outside the window which made it feel like a prison cell,we asked to be moved which they politely obliged, only to put us in a room that hadn't been cleaned from the previous guest,we were then moved again into a room with a sea view only for the hot water pipes running around the room to be permanently on making the room feel like an oven and the window had a chain on that only opened 2 inches it was torture, one off the worse nights sleep ever in a hotel, kids running around until the early hours, dead flies on the tea tray and dried milk on the table, don,t be fooled by the pictures on the net it needs a lot of money throwing at it.

Room Tip: choose a different hotel

my wife and i have just. come home from the norbreck, we had an absolutley fabulous time. the room was clean and the food was excellent both at breakfast and evening meal and chefs chicken dishes were to die for. all of the hotel staff worked really hard and efficiently. all the children were having a great time as were we. and the entertainment was first class. regardless.of some peoples negative reviews,we did not find anything to complain about. so keep up the good work we will be back soon. pat and jimmy from durham.

We arrived in Blackpool to rain (nobody can help the weather) we were early for our check in but the friendly reception staff did all the relevant paperwork but we werent able to have our room until 3.30pm. Unbeknown to us there was the All England Freestyle Dancing Championships being held and there were plenty of young girls walking around in sparse glittery, costumes with fake tans and the time soon passed. We were on a budget so had only booked a basic room. We were surprised and pleased that we were given a sea view room. The room was clean and had eveything you would need for a short stay, tea/coffee facilties, tv, hairdryer etc. The water was extremely hot and so was the room. The hotel itself is very, very tired and sadly it was very dirty, but that I would say was down to all the young people that were there just throwing their rubbish and litter down anywhere. The meals were plentiful, hot and nutritous although breakfasts were a bit of a scramble and had to queue up both mornings we were there and lifts were a nightmare. There was only 1 lift to serve each wing, we are able bodied and was only on 3rd floor so were able to walk up and down the stairs. The walk into Cleveleys along the cliff top is lovely and so is there promenade. We didnt pay a lot for our break, so it was value for money, but I have been to better so sadly wont return in a hurry.

The hotel was lovely on internet but when you arrive it is very different. The hotel has litter all over the grounds. The hotel inside is very dirty the staff do try there best but I think they are not managed correctly. The room was awful and I asked for another which I got worse !!! The manager was very rude and was not very helpful. It is ashame has the pool and gym ect is lovely and well kept. The entertainment staff are brilliant and do a good job and my little girl and I loved it. My opinion is they overcharge on the rooms and they are not worth the tarriff they charge. It is needs revamping even a lick of paint and a good clean. Would not return to be honest.

Room Tip: There is none to be honest has I spoje to other people even there superior rooms are terrible. Go so...

This has got to be the worst hotel I have ever been to. You know you are in trouble when you drive into the car park and half the sign is missing and the outside looks like it hasn't seen a paint brush for about 30 years.
The whole place needs renovating (or demolishing!!!) The carpet in our room had a brown sticky stain on it - god only knows what that was - wiring from wall sockets was visible and the patched up wall next to the bed was a treat. The "sea view" from the room was somewhat spoilt by the pond with the wooden pallet in it - CLEAN IT OUT - its not that much effort
As for breakfast!!!! Health hazard springs to mind - the scrambled egg was something to behold and the rest only just warm. It was a free for all at breakfast - not that I ate much of it
I am not a snob I have stayed at some top hotels and some basic hotels all over the UK and the world - I didn't expect The Ritz but I do expect a certain level of cleanliness and food hygiene

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
