one of the three rooms we had was a little "tired" and needed refurbishment.Perhaps as we got a "deal" on the price it`s norm for the hotel.Staff all very pleasent and helpful. The evening dinner at £18 per head was only "fair".Not a great selection and some of the food that was on the buffet was cold mainly the ones on the heated tray areas!!
Breakfast good selection but again some items cold especially bacon and fried eggs stored in casseroles on the heated surfaces....maybe not turned up to correct level.Overall stay ok and thoroughly enjoyed swimming pool/sauna/steam room.A bit miffed at having to pay to park the car in hotel car park.

Booked for a couple days in the Easter holiday - definateley not Hilton Standard - rooms were unclean, very dusty and stale air, the springs in the mattresses were digging into you all night, kids had to sleep on the floor!!
Bathrooms very tired and unclean.
Very tired hotel, and not the best part of Blackpool. Only stopped the one night due to this!!!

Wow - from the minute we checked in until the time we checked out we couldn't fault this hotel It's clean & spacious. We were a group of friends who stayed for a get together weekend. The restaurant catered for us very well - the dinner was great and the breakfast fantastic. Every member of staff we met had a smile on their face and seemed to enjoy working there. Yes, some of the areas need redecoration but what they have they keep clean and presentable.
Would def look to book ans stay here again.

Wwe checked in a 2pm, the room was filthy, we asked for them to clean it, it was ready for us at 9:30pm. Photos speak for themselves.

We used the lounge to have a relaxing drink, only to be disturbed by screaming babies and toddlers running around.

Pool water was cloudy and changing room filthy

Breakfast was good, apart from the restaurant was freezing cold, son was given a cup which still had sticky coffee in it.

I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay. As you arrived before guaranteed check in time on family rate I can only assume the room had not been serviced properly before check in. I apologise for this oversight on our part. This was done for you at your request and according to our duty managers report to your satisfaction. I am sorry we did not have a newly refurbished room available for you due to high occupancy levels in the hotel and no vacant rooms remaining. Swimming pool samples are checked every two hours by the staff in accordance with our
H & S procedures, and changing rooms cleaned and sanitized very regularly throughout the day. I was pleased to see you enjoyed the famous Hilton breakfast . I can offer no excuse for this lapse in our usual high standard on this occasion. We are a family hotel with lots of children in house during the holidays. I do hope you will return so that we may make amends and restore your confidence in the hotel. I was pleased to see that you did receive a personal apology from the hotel. Thank you for your feedback.

As part of our daughters birthday celebrations we went to Blackpool for the weekend and stayed at this hotel. After having a great stay in the Hilton Deansgate Manchester the previous weekend, the Hilton Blackpool was a complete disappointment. The room was small. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly and the there was a ring of scum in the bath. The room was small and the furniture was marked. The beds were comfy but the pillows seemed to have some kind of plastic coating which rustled every time I moved my head. My husband and the kids used the pool which was very clean, the changing room was open with no private cubicles. The times that children are allowed to use the pool aren't ideal. The room we had was next to a very noisy family who allowed there small children to run wild up and down the corridors banging on the doors. The hotel decor seems a little tired. The breakfast was delicious and the waiting on staff very attentive. The dirty bathroom and scruffy bedroom has really put me off this hotel and I wouldn't spend the money they ask to stay here again. The Glendower in St Annes is much nicer, with friendlier staff and less expensive.

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the past 20 years, and while in many ways it is not up to the standard of other 4 star Hiltons, this is Blackpool!
We found the food at breakfast and evening buffet to be really good, the dining staff are pleasant and efficient.
We did not appreciate,as residents of the hotel, having to pay £2.50 per day parking charge. The card issued by reception to allow you to come and go from the car park never worked on exit,so my husband had to buzz for assistance to raise the barrier each time.
We were holidaying with two 80+year olds, occupying three rooms. In the middle of checking in my mother in law,the receptionist, for some unknown reason, asked us to take a seat. She then disappeared behind a screen. We waited for a full 15 mins and then reapproached the desk to find out what was going on.The other receptionist went behind to find out and reappeared with the keycard. What a waste of time.
In the evening we decided to stay in the lounge bar and pay the very high drinks prices,as there was a singer performing. However our,and many other customers'enjoyment was spoiled by six or seven children from the ages of 18 months to sevenish running about in front of the singer for the entire time. This is a time for adults, not childrens'playtime. It was also dangerous for staff who were carrying trays of drinks about.A brave couple tried to dance once or twice, but had to keep to the periphery. One of the fathers spent his time texting whilst his children were causing mayhem, even running around on the stage with the electrical leads trailing on the floor. It certainly spoiled our enjoyment of the evening.

Stayed here for 5 nights at beginning of April using the special offer of bed and breakfast and dinner on the first night. Booked in very speedily to find out we also had dinner on the third and last night at no extra charge so that was an added bonus. The room was small but adequate and clean. My son enjoyed the sofa bed and the king size bed was so comfortable that I had the best night's sleep. We had a problem with one of the windows but this was quickly rectified when we reported it to reception.
The staff were very friendly and the service was great. The breakfast buffet was very good with a lot to choose from and dinner was lovely also. The choices of main course at dinner were rather fancy and my son wasn't too sure about them but he did enjoy the desserts! Other children seemed to have the same problem, however the staff seemed to go all out to help them. The bar was very relaxing and it's great that children are allowed. My son loved the life size display model of the McLaren Formula 1 racing car in the reception (unfortunately for him and my fiance you're not allowed to sit in it). I really enjoyed the swimming pool and used that several times during our stay also.
The location is good (up from the North Pier) and normally we would have used the trams but unfortunately this was closed due to works ongoing to July. Not the hotel's fault but just pointing it out for reference.
All in all a very enjoyable holiday. Would stay here again.
