“A perfect hotel fo a Blackpool break”
Reviewed 22 May 2011

The Hilton must be the best hotel in Blackpool from checking in to leaving everthing was perfect nothing was to much trouble for the staff.
We go every year with our little granddaughter and have tried lots of large hotels but the Hilton won hands down.
We even got a free upgrade!
The breakfasts were superb catering for all tastes rooms were spotless.
Swimming Pool and Gym facilities were excellent.
Not much to do though for a five year old but then Blackpool has so much to offer.
When we require accomodation again we will be staying at one of the Hilton Hotels

Just spent three nights here with my elderly parents, on a return trip to the area they used to live (which has now completely changed by the way!) Hotel was just as expected, despite my being a little concerned after reading recent reviews. The rooms were perfectly adequate, although windows could do with a clean! Breakfast was superb and rooms were very clean including the bathroom with lovely soft towels. Extra pillows were provided on request and we found the staff very pleasant and helpful. Would definately stay here again should we return to Blackpool. The only downside to our trip however was the vast road works and refurbishment of the promenade - absolute nightmare!! Oh and I think the hotel should provide free parking for guests.

Room Tip: Go for a last minute upgrade for the extra £15

Just spent a relaxing and very enjoyable 5 nights at this hotel for our wedding anniversary ( our 4th stay in 18 months !) As usual , found the bedroom perfectly adequate , spotlessly clean ( bathroom as well ) We ate in the hotel every night as we feel the food is excellent , plenty of choice and loads of it ! No one seems to mind how much you have to eat ! Puddings are to die for ! Tea and coffee was available in the restaurant every night too ,as there were 3 bus trips from Ireland in the hotel -- must have been part of their deal -- but available to all .(Tea and coffee is available in all the rooms ( the kettle is in a cupboard !)) We found all the staff , particularly in the dining room very friendly and obliging .The pool is great too , the changing room , not so great .Ref. to the comments on dirty windows from another reviewer , did they not notice the gale force winds blowing salt and sand from the beach on to the windows and cars and anything else ( including us ) ? Anyway , we will be back as soon as we can , for stay number 5 !

Room Tip: book via the Hilton website , often special offers

Stayed at this hotel for one night with friends. Paid £130 for a twin room which was overpriced. The bathrooms were pretty basic, the windows were filthy, the beds not very comfortable and the reception staff not very efficient or friendly, one of our party even heard a receptionist make an aside comment about us as we checked out. They had made a mistake with our bill charging us for someone elses evening meal for which no apology was received. When a hotel is substandard the staff need to work extra hard to make up for it, not the other way around! Perhaps look elsewhere....

one of the three rooms we had was a little "tired" and needed refurbishment.Perhaps as we got a "deal" on the price it`s norm for the hotel.Staff all very pleasent and helpful. The evening dinner at £18 per head was only "fair".Not a great selection and some of the food that was on the buffet was cold mainly the ones on the heated tray areas!!
Breakfast good selection but again some items cold especially bacon and fried eggs stored in casseroles on the heated surfaces....maybe not turned up to correct level.Overall stay ok and thoroughly enjoyed swimming pool/sauna/steam room.A bit miffed at having to pay to park the car in hotel car park.

Booked for a couple days in the Easter holiday - definateley not Hilton Standard - rooms were unclean, very dusty and stale air, the springs in the mattresses were digging into you all night, kids had to sleep on the floor!!
Bathrooms very tired and unclean.
Very tired hotel, and not the best part of Blackpool. Only stopped the one night due to this!!!

Wow - from the minute we checked in until the time we checked out we couldn't fault this hotel It's clean & spacious. We were a group of friends who stayed for a get together weekend. The restaurant catered for us very well - the dinner was great and the breakfast fantastic. Every member of staff we met had a smile on their face and seemed to enjoy working there. Yes, some of the areas need redecoration but what they have they keep clean and presentable.
Would def look to book ans stay here again.

Room Tip: We went on the Hilton website - pay in advance
