Unable to stay at our usual B and B when visiting family in Blackpool we opted for B and B at the Hilton. We have stayed at various Hilton hotels but for some reason did not expect this one in Blackpool to be of a similar standard. Well we were wrong and I can only praise the whole experience, from check in to check out. Good sized rooms with sea views, efficient lifts to get to them, reasonable room service although we had to ask for more milk and tea bags, excellent staff especially in reception, and a really good buffet beakfast with an international selection of goodies. Again the serving staff were friendly and helpful and on the ball so you didn't have to keep asking, they saw you needed things. Good quality food was on offer and it was replenished frequently. It was also well organised and there was no waiting even though the hotel was very busy. We got special prices by booking well in advance and this was value for money. I'm not sure the normal price would have been. So well done Hilton, this is a good advert for Blackpool.

Room Tip: Book early and keep looking on the hilton website for special offers. Booking.com is particularly good.

Stayed here end July with my husband and 2 children, 5 and 3, in a family room on the seventh floor. While the room wasn't huge, it was big enough and the children enjoyed their 'folded-out-of-the-wall' bunk beds. The double bed was big and comfy. The bathroom was small but clean with nice Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries. There was even a partial sea view. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent (although the tea was not, recommend you brew your own, hubby had no complaints about the coffee). The location at the end of the North Shore was super for us as it was quiet and we enjoyed the stroll back from town or took a tram - the tram stops almost outside the Hilton and the tram conductors are helpful at shouting out "This stop for the Hilton" if you're not sure where you're going to begin with! Check-in and out was smooth. We even had time for a swim in the pool - fairly standard for a hotel pool, on the small side but changing rooms nice and towels provided. Even though the hotel was very busy, it being school hols, there was no rowdiness or excess noise. Parking in the hotel carpark is £2.50. I booked this hotel when Hilton had an offer on and obtained a very reasonable rate. I was very pleased with our stay and would book this Hilton again.

Stayed here for 2 nights with family, very clean hotel staff very professional and helpful, rooms cleaned daily and breakfast superb with large selection. There is even an indoor heated pool to occupy the kids and we would definitely stay here again my only complaint was the beds were uncomfortable but don't we have the same problem in every hotel!

I stayed 2 nights in April to attend a concert at the Wintergardens. The promenade was under construction, therefore the public transportation was not available to hotel from train station or city centre shops and restuarants. The lobby area was nice as was the breakfast buffet. My room on the third floor was small and very tattered. Stained carpets, well worn furniture and bedding. The new TV and the view of the ocean helped make the stay a little better. It is a 15 minute walk to restaurants and shops which is OK but not at night for a solo female traveler...it was about a 5 pound taxi ride each way from hotel. If Hilton could pay the same attention to their room quality as they do their lobby this would be a better place to stay in Blackpool.

We stayed at the Blackpool Hilton to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday and secured an upgrade by sending an e-mail before we left home. The room was still on the small side with a HUGE bed. There was a bottle of wine, choccies and a couple of cokkies with a birthday message!
Otherwise it was standard Hilton stuff, well managed, clean with good staff.
The pool area was rather tired and the changing rooms a bit scruffy..maybe the staff could do a bit more cleaning rather than chatting!
