We stayed for one night on the 1/3/14 and can say it wasn't the worst hotel I've stayed in, neither was it the best.
Upon arrival I thought the reception area was beautiful, really clean and reception staff lovely. Lifts were a pain, 3 lifts and had to wait over 10mins at some points.
Once in the room we noticed it wasn't as modern as we would have liked. Beige walls with a rather orange statement wall which was glossed! Not very nice. Stains on the carpet which we put wipes over so we didn't stand on them! Bathroom clean, no complaints there. Beds clean but rather small and moved as on wheels. TV basic but we didn't plan on much time in the room, so wasn't a huge issue! Think the rooms just need a general modernisation! Could be easily done with a new paint and bits and bobs here and there!
12 checkout time is a bonus but think the £5 parking charge is a tad steep specially for one evening.
Overall an average stay and would go again if needed to stay in Blackpool.More
