I have been some business there in Blackpool and choose this hotel because of the brand! Nice and friendly staff, good gym and pool facilities, easy parking places around the building! All tourist spots easy to reach even by walk or with cheap local taxis.

Room Tip: Go high to the nice beach view or close to the restaurant

For over 15 years I have been organizing and attending many black tie events across the Fylde Coast.
2 years ago we decided to move our school ball to the Hilton hotel as it had a fantastic reputation for "black tie balls".I have attended many events over the years, most of which were held at the area's premier hotels, but none of which can offer the professionalism, care, and quality of food that the Hilton offer.
Nothing is too much trouble, the maintenance team, restaurant staff, bar staff and of course the "food & beverage manager" Andy Ruddle". No matter what the pressure or problems we threw at them, no matter how many times we asked for their help, they were all fantastic. The food was 5 star. Whatever event you are holding the Hilton has to be the best in the Northwest, and don't forget to make sure Andy is on duty. A massive thank you to all of the team

I returned to the Hilton for the Bank Holiday week-end,stayed for 4 nights, this was my 3rd visit in the past 3 months.Still not happy with the lack of heating in the room, its not acceptable to walk into a room which has the heating switched off.Unfotuneately I was in room 723,its right at the lift foyer, very noisey,at night you hear the lift motors running, you can also hear the water tanks filling, most noticeable in the morning. At night it gets pretty draughty with the wind coming up the lift shafts. No chance of getting a different room as the Hotel was at capacity,so had to lump it.They continue to charge for Parking/Wi-Fi in your room, giving Wi-Fi access in the public areas is no compensation,i used it the once and my computer kept telling me that it was under constant threat,so I closed it down. With the exception of the Reservation staff, the staff here are superb, the Bar/Restaurant staff cannot be bettered, what a cheerful bunch, very well done. The Hilton give you a comments card to fill in,i duly filled this in,to date no response, hopefully it was passed on,if so,why no feedback. The standard feedback to date has been that they are doing a refurbishment,so what recompense do the patrons get who are not lucky enough to get a newly refurbished room.

Room Tip: stay away from the seventh floor, any ropom adjacent to a lift foyer is going to be noisey.I would tr...

I was concerned to hear you did not enjoy your stay, and you found the room particularly cold. The radiators are turned off at certain time during the day particularly in the warmer weather for the comfort of all of our guests. I apologise you found difficulty with this, Housekeeping would have been pleased to provide additional blankets and heaters for you on request.. Wif-fi is free in all of our public areas, lounge, Reception, cocktail bar and restaurant, and is a secure system. Parking is charged at £5 for 24 hour period. I was pleased to hear the staff provided a great service for you. Thank you for your feedback, this is most important to us. Nick Taylor, General Manager

staff could not do enough for us,second time we have stayed and everone was always concerned about helping my wife as she has a mobility scooter. andy the chef it is propbably rude of me to call him this as if he is not something higher up such as catering manager or the like then he should be, what a realy nice bloke, he went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, only wish he would come to wales to live as this person is realy and truthfully one of the nicest people we have both met in a very long time .finaly best regards and wishes to mr hasan ozdal deputy hotel manager (who mucked in and done all sorts including helping with the toast machine, he is what we would call a jack of all trades as he did a lot of different tasks including the concierge) and I would like the name of his hairdresser as on the last morning of our stay he arrived with a very smart new haircut, I was very jealous as I am almost bald ha ha.

Arrived Friday afternoon, took a while to check in. Rooms below average.
1st night no sleep due to next door playing music into early hours, security took so long to sort, no sleep.
2nd night same again not a lot of sleep, due to other inconsiderate guests next door and same floor. Doors was very loud and heavy when closing. Would never stop in this Hilton again, was not cheap to stay and got no sleep.

Thanks so much for the excellent service and lovely food you served at our fundraiser last night. The staff were great and friendly and it added to a wonderful evening that raised plenty on money for two local schools.

My partner and I visit Blackpool a lot and we always stay at the Hilton for a number of reasons - namely because its in a quiet spot right at the end of strip and also because with the Hilton brand I think you always know what you're getting. Despite some reviews saying otherwise, I think this is true of the Hilton at Blackpool; the staff I have always found to be friendly and accommodating (particularly those in the restaurant), the rooms very clean, modern and generally of a high standard - the sea view family rooms are lovely! On our last visit we booked a king, dinner and breakfast, all included in the price which was VERY reasonable, could not have found all that cheaper! On arrival we were upgraded to the family room by the lady on reception which was a nice touch. The gym and pool facilities are nice, little bit on the small side but I don't go away to use the gym the whole time so not a problem! Breakfast is always lovely with lots of choice; hot, cold and eggs cooked to your liking. I would definitely recommend this hotel to couples, groups and families. Easy to reach from Blackpool North railway station and in easy walking distance from the tower and related attractions. Those looking to visit the Pleasure Beach or other south beach attractions may want to make use of the trams, although it is quite a nice relaxing walk down the sea front if the weather is nice!

Room Tip: Book online - A LOT cheaper!
