I stayed with my family on Thursday 5th June 2014 for an over night stay. We paid for the extra dinner which was relatively cheap at £18.50 per person - however only cheap if the food was usual Hilton standards. It wasn't. I had the Carvery as had my wife. It was more School canteen than Hilton. As a Hilton Gold member I am used to staying at hotels such as Hilton Manchester Deansgate, Edinburgh Caledonian or Glasgow William Street - all fantastic. This was not in the same class, it was basic, poor food, poor choice of buffet, King Deluxe room was anything but King Deluxe.

After putting the kids to sleep my wife and I retired to bed, only to be put off by a smell of sickness, either from the bed of carpets - not good. It was too late to phone reception and wake and move three kids so reception staff were informed the next day but seemed less then interested.

Anyway they must work harder to be of Hilton standard. I won't be back to find out!

Stayed here again for a weekend conference, one of the best hotels in Blackpool. Speedy check-in, my room was ready when I got there. Plenty of space in the room ( Room 551), its on the back. Wi-Fi still has the "clumsy login system if you are BT customer, and you have to log back in every time you want to use it. Excellent carvery dinner in the evening, and a mega breakfast in the morning. Room was spotless as usual, and a lovely nights sleep. Gets my vote every time. Photos to follow.

Room Tip: Room 551 faces the back, nice and quiet and loads of space.

This hotel is defiantly the best Blackpool has to offer.

The restaurant staff were very good and made sure we were well looked after.

2 staff members on reception in particular were very helpful Rob and Garry, they were great!
They opened the gym early doors for me. No if that's not going the extra mile I don't know what is.
This is the reason I would recommend the hotel and would return.

one of the chain of hotels of Hilton. it is a decent hotel. The hotel is conviniently close to Blackpool station which is good. situated at the heart of the city. the hotel is decent and staff is good. But though i feel the hotel can do a little more to make stay comfortable and have some basics in the room better.
you can ask for a sea view room, it is very good and you have a beautiful view form the room certainly. It is situated in the center so has very good restaurants and clubs in and around. Also the tower and beach is very near.

Room Tip: ask for sea view rooms

I went to Blackpool for a night out with a friend, we choose to stay at the Hilton rather than a bb as i have stayed here before, the cost was not much more expensive than any other hotel/bb in Blackpool and i did spend a few days looking around, from check in, use of the pool, Breakfast and checkout the service was excellent, next time i am in Blackpool The Hilton will definately be the hotel i stay in.

Went here Sunday with my Husband, Mum and Mums friend had a lovely afternoon although the cake selection was a bit poor this time, we have been here a few times now. The cakes were all mousse's, my Mum went the week before and they were the same. We mentioned this to Peter our waiter for him to pass onto the chef. We also ordered 2 afternoon teas for Diabetics, (last time they were lovely fruit skewers and home made chocolate dip), this time fruit skewers and single cream which was no use at all. Peter was fantastic (he only works weekend as he's a student) very attentive, friendly and attending to all our needs. Thank you for making us feel welcome.
