Arrived around 3.30pm ,the receptionist was very welcoming and friendly, the room was spotless with a beautiful sea view. The bed was massive and the room and bathroom were immaculate.i rang reception as I couldn't find the thermostat to control the heating on the radiator ,again the receptionist was extremely pleasant.i still couldn't find the thermostat controls ,even after the conversation so called in at reception to explain this (to the same receptionist) and she promised to send somebody up to have a look.........foolishly I was looking for an electronic thermostat controller on the wall ,when infact it was just a knob on the radiator I should have been looking for and I caused a lot of hassle because of my stupidity, but the receptionist remained lovely, helpful and professional in her quest to help me when I imagine she wanted to slap me.I left for a night out and returned about 2am,the door staff were friendly and welcoming ,I decided I would gate crash an event in the function room but was refused service as I wasn't an invited guest,so top marks to the bar staff for asking me to leave ,however I was dressed as an 80's Boy George so wouldn't have fit in at this corporate event anyway. All in all it's a great hotel with great staff,I never made breakfast but know from my last visit it is amazing ! Would I return ? Yes every time .

Excellent facilities. Had a family room. 2 single beds (Creaked badly and woke us up) a sofa bed and a camp bed. Breakfast was great. Room service prompt. Great view of the beach. Very clean. Would stay again subject to the single beds being renewed.

An ugly hotel in a terribly run-down town. The bedrooms still have touches from the 1970's (Rediffusion anyone?) while the public spaces may just have been acceptable in the '80s. The sad thing is, having walked along the promenade, this may well be one of the better hotels in this sad, tatty town.

I was concerned to hear you did not enjoy your stay in Blackpool and the hotel. I am sorry we did not have a recently refurbished room to allocate to you due to business levels in the hotel. Our bedroom refurbishment programme is an ongoing process and completed on a rolling programme. Blackpool itself has had lots of recent investment, with a new tram system now in operation, and lots of ongoing projects in place for the future. Thank you for your comments. Hilton Blackpool has the best all round hotel staff that we have met, and i have travelled near and far. The room was clean and well serviced. The food was very good with with variety and was good value for money. We chose this hotel as we travel with an elderly and disabled mother, we are very carefull where we stay due to some experiences in the past. this hotel did exactly what it said it would. This was our mothers break and a treat from us. as she is now 85 and first took us to Blackpool as children many decades ago. To revisit staying at the Hilton was great, facilites were excellent and the staff most helpfull.

This hotel is well situated and very friendly and comfortable with good food and service. Our stay was excellent, but next time we would not have a room so near the lift. Other guests are not always considerate of people sleeping. But the hotel itself is excellent and we will stay again and would certainly recommend. And if you stay do try the food. Excellent both in quality and value.
