Since discovering the redstone we have stayed here several times, has always been fab, good service, great rooms, very clean and smart, cool bar downstairs and a welcome like an old friend. Will be going back soon I am sure. The best place to stay in Blackpool by a mile.

Have just got back from my first trip to Blackpool and our stay at The Redstone. This hotel is an absolute gem, we were greeted by Ursula the owner who is really lovely and very welcoming, after a long journey we were greeted with a much needed pot of tea and some of Ursula's homemade cake.

Our stay at The Redstone was perfect, it was absolutely faultless, the rooms were beautiful, the beds comfortable, the wetroom was gorgeous, the breakfasts were yummy with an excellent variety and Ursula, her staff and family were lovely. The bar in the basement is absolutely gorgeous, if you stay at the Redstone make sure you use it.

I would recommend this lovely hotel to everybody, it was definitely the best hotel I have ever stayed in and will be recommending it to all of my friends.

Thank you Ursula and your lovely family for making our staff so memorable.

We were given a wonderful welcome by Ursula and her daughters at this beautifully furnished Boutique Guest house. The whole place is really well appointed and great care and thought has been given to the comfort of their guests from the fresh flowers and the complimentory afternoon tea to the luxurious furnishings and linens in the spacious bedrooms. Breakfast was delicious and the service impeccable. Very highly recommended ,thank you.

Room Tip: Room 8 was very spacious had a large bathroom, seaview and view of the Tower and was well appointed

Me and my husband stayed at the redstone on the 4th and 5th Sep 2011 for our 2 year anniversary. We arrived abit early and checked in with no problems. Jasmine (Ursulas daughter) was lovely and got us some delicious cake and coffee which was needed after our journey from south Wales. A man (sorry i didn't catch his name or figure out who he was) took our bag to our room for us (room 4) and we followed shortly after.....our room was stunning, modern, clean and stylish with a big t.v and plenty of space and light. The bed was the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in, and i had the most relaxing bath i have ever had in my life. Everything was perfect. Breakfast was very nice and you can choose from a range of diff things. There is also fruit and cereals juice etc. My husband fancied a change on the 2nd day and asked for poached egg on toast (which is not on the menu) at the last minute and they got it for him with no problems at all. The staff are all really lovely and will do all they can to help you out. There is one small thing that we were abit dissapointed in, it was only that we didn't know there was a bar downstaires, (until we got home and read someone review saying about it) we would have liked to have maybe gone and had a little drink one evening and have a look but it just gives us an excuse to go back again.
There is free internet access, tea/coffee/hot choc making facilities, bath robes and slippers and plenty of room to store clothes.
Check out day was also helpul because Ursula let us keep our car in the car park and we were also able to keep our bags in the hotel while we done abit of shopping. We absolutely loved this hotel and it really is perfect. Thank you for a brilliant weekend, we look forward to coming back soon :)

Room Tip: Room 4 looks exactly like the pictures.

I have stayed in very good hotels all over the country and abroad and the Redstone is right up there with the best of them. I was looking for a quiet, extremely comfortable and modern place to stay and there is no doubt at all that the Redstone fits the bill. The exterior shows considerable signs of improvement and exudes a general classiness, as does the all glass front door and electronic door card system. The welcome from Ursula was warm and genuine and the opportunity to have a cup of tea and a slice of cake while we completed the formalities in the attractive and tasteful reception area was a very nice touch. The room, on the first floor, had an extremely comfortable bed with some of the best pillows I've ever found! There was a good supply of tea and coffee and mineral water and a nice LCD TV of a sensible size. The bathroom had a wet room area and the rainfall shower head provided a nice touch of luxury on a par with some of the best boutique hotels.
In the morning I opted for the main Redstone breakfast; bacon and egg and a great deal more besides in fresh and inviting surroundings. The breakfast was of excellent quality and I can imagine the "Hotel Inspector" offering much praise if she ever came calling - not that the Management need any advice as they seem to be getting everything just right.
The Guest House is a stone's throw from the sea and there's a tram stop very close by.
All in all very highly recommended.

we arrived at the redstone to a warm welcome from ursula with a cup of tea and a slice of cake no big chat about rules and regulations just friendly and informative.
the rooms are spotless bed is comfortable with sheets that are fresh and not clinical smelling like theve been washed in starch.
toilet and shower are as i would of expected again spotless with plenty of fresh towels again not stiff as card board, soft and fresh.
water hot all the while no lose in pressure or temperature in a morning when having shower, central heating available all the time if required just on regulator on rad and towel rad .
breakfast freshly cooked every morning ,no long wait even when busy, and enough to keep u going all day.and as ever ursula always had time to have a chat nothing was to much trouble.
overall wot can i say its sounds to good to be true but it is not,the redstone is just how we wanted our stay to be and they have got it spot on.she should be very proud of wot she has achieved.and we will be back

Room Tip: all rooms are excellent .good value for money
