My husband and I stayed here last night (25-2-2014)
We decided on a last minuet break and blackpool always seems to win.
Having stayed in some expensive dumps and not wanting to return to them we looked on the web and found this little gem.
Just off the sea front it's a 15ish Minuit walk in to the center(tower area) but tram stops a stones throw away.
The owner is lovely, attentive but not over baring and pushy like some can be.
Hot drinks were offered when we arrived. Our room was a very high standard and spotless like the rest of the hotel.
Breakfast was very good and filling with lots of choice.
I would recommend the redstone to everyone.
It' was easy and free to park outside, if you are reading this and wondering weather to book or not don't think twice you will not regret it if you don't have a stay here.

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Redstone... On arrival we were met by the owner Ursula who offered us a drink and homemade chocolate brownies (yummy)... We stayed in room 4 which was decorated to a very high standard, lovely comfy bed, seating area in the bay window with a view of the sea and blackpool tower... The bathroom was luxurious big bath big enough to share, you can even watch the TV in the main room whilst lay in the bath.. The room has all amenities including hair dryer and straighters.. There is a bar in the basement which again is done to a very high standard... Whilst at the hotel it was my boyfriend's birthday so I asked Ursula if I could keep his surprise cake in her fridge, she obliged and even offered to bring it up to the breakfast room the morning of his birthday, even singing happy birthday to him, much to his surprise... Breakfast is lovely with plenty of choice to suit all tastes... Overall our stay was first class in a first class hotel, nothing was to much for Ursula and her staff... Will definitely be visiting again.. If you want luxury and paradise in Blackpool then Redstone is for you.

Oh my god where to start. We loved it here. As soon as we arrived Ursula was so friendly and welcoming. The Redstone is so clean, its decorated to a very high standard and is so inviting. We stayed for 3 nights in the one of the top rooms, room 8. Its a huge room with a beautiful bathroom. The bath was perfectly positioned for me to lie in it and watch celebrity juice on the 50 inch telly. Bliss!!
Big comfy bed and a lovely little seating area in the bay window. Tea and coffee, hot chocolate, bottles of water and packs of biscuits were topped up every morning.Breakfast was just the best we have ever had, anywhere. Plenty of choice available and big portions as well.
The bar in the basement is great, i want one in my home. If i had a basement!
We cant wait to return here and are planning to do so in september.
You have to stay here.
Ursula, the chocolate brownies were amazing. :)

We were visiting Blackpool following a football match - after lots of research on trip advisor for somewhere to stay - and after reading some rather dodgy reviews of other B&B's we opted to pay a little more for a better one.
The owners agreed we could check in early so that we could get to the match in time- the outside of The Redstone gives you an indication of what lies behind the front door - the place has been fully refurbished to an extremely high standard - and is beautifully decorated throughout .
Our room was stunning and very spacious - and the bathroom was huge - with an oversized bath.
Simply luxurious .
When we returned from football we were offered home made cake - yummy.
The choice of breakfasts - to pre order - was amazing - from the normal full English to smoked salmon and eggs - to kippers - along with cereals, croissants and yogurts - the fruit was delicious - all fresh including strawberries , kiwi and pineapple. The breakfasts portions were not huge but it was definitely quality over quantity.
Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and we can highly recommend staying here.

Room Tip: We had room 8 - huge room - comfortable bed - luxurious bathroom.

Stayed here in a double room for one night.......lovely comfy bed....rooms spotless...large bathroom with shower and complimentary toiletries...hair dryer, hair straighteners(yippeeee!) and small seating area. Breakfast was great and just what we needed before a brisk walk along the front! By far the nicest little B&B we gave ever stated in and if we are ever back in Blackpool will certainly stay again

Stayed here last night 1st time at this hotel. Wow what can I say stunning just stunning. A lot of time & effort has gone into this hotel. Spotless, very comphey beds, didn't want to get out of it. Bathroom all tiled with wet room shower spotless cant complain about any of it. the bar is in the cellar stunning mood lighting black marble floor. Breakfast was beautiful (loved my poached eggs) cooked to perfection. The hotel in all in my opinion is beautiful spotless Fresh smelling so clean. No faults at all.. Have booked again To go valentines weekend. Ursula the owner is a lovely lady very polite & there to help u any way she can. Other staff very polite at breakfast this morning thank you all so very much for a very welcomed stay at this beautiful hotel... Definitely a 5* hotel. X
