We were very impressed by the immaculate cleanliness of Redstone. The host, Ursula, was absolutely delightful and is meticulous in the presentation of the large and very well appointed rooms. We were very impressed with the location, wifi, breakfast and were even treated to a home made cake upon arrival - went for seconds later. All aspects of our stay there were excellent from start to finish. Off street parking was provided just up the road and the beach was only 100m away - and could be seen from the lovely bay windows. Plenty of room in this very well appointed BNB/hotel.

Room Tip: we were on the first floor at the front - nice and quiet and spacious and as clean as any place I ha...

Thank you Trip Advisor for featuring this splendid little guest house. We decided to book after seeing the excellent reviews here and we were certainly not disappointed. The Redstone is a true gem towards the south end of the promenade and is only 2 mins walk from the sea front. I couldn't help noticing the mention of tea and cake on arrival and, sure enough, we had a lovely slice of Ursula's lemon cake which was outstanding. And what a nice lady she was. She rang on our day of arrival to make sure that we found the house all right; she doesn't like garish signs outside. Then, after tea and cake, she showed us where to park and ensured that we were all settled. The room was comfortable and I especially liked the en suite wet room. I do hate climbing up into a bath to take a shower so this was a winner for me. There is a smart little bar downstairs if you want a little sharpener before you go out and the breakfast in the morning was superb. Ursula has done a great job of modernising the Redstone and I can only repeat the adjectives I have already used to describe it: smart, comfortable, welcoming and excellent overall. One tip: there is no shaver point in the bathroom so make sure your shaver is fully charged before you come. The Redstone gets a huge recommendation from me.

Wasn't going to review Ursula's wonderful B&B for a third time, after all it's all been said a thousand times, but felt I had to after reading the last review! We stayed last night and as always we had a spotless, tastefully decorated room with everything we could possibly want and all of the best quality AND the best breakfast I've had in any establishment anywhere and that includes The Waldorf Hotel.....
99.9% of reviewers would disagree with the last review....which was all the more hilarious because of the atrocious spelling...use spellcheck if you want to be taken seriously...

Fantastic hotel, staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was perfect, offsite parking was extremely handy. Definitely would stop there again. The breakfast was perfect both myself and my partner were full satisfied. The hotel is ideally situated for the south end of Blackpool and isn't too far for getting into the town centre. There's a bus stop at the top of the street if you don't fancy a walk. 5 stars are well deserved.
