First off, be aware that this hotel appears to block access to public and subscribed wifi services within the hotel and most of the grounds. There are 3 BT hotspots situated close to the hotel but they are not accessible within the hotel. Instead guests are invited to use the hotel's wifi which comes at a cost after a small allowance has been used.
Second, be aware that the hotel waters down the fruit juices at breakfast. Some of the food will be cold and the scrambled eggs were standing in tepid water.
Third, expect eye-wateringly expensive drinks in the bar, considering this is the north-west of England.More
