I visited this a few years ago and was impressed so was looking forward to going back but was left disappointed.

We paid £30 (which is a huge increase form what I paid previously) and that only gave us access to the viewing deck. If you want to visit the ballroom or the other attractions in the tower that is extra.

The tour of the tower and the viewing deck takes about 1hr max so doesn't represent good value foe money in my opinion.

Viewing deck offers great 360' degree views especially if the sun is out but at the price I won't be returning as there are other attractions that have a similar price where you can spend the whole day.

Hi Karen M,

Thanks for contributing to the Blackpool Tower's TripAdvisor page. Don't forget that your entry into the Tower Eye also included the 4D cinema experience - which is a fantastic show.

Discounted tickets are available through our website. We also have a range of local, regional and national promotions running at the moment, so we would always encourage our guests to keep an eye out for those. If you did want to spend more of your day at our attractions we offer combination tickets of £25 for two attractions, £35 for three attractions, and our Big Ticket is all seven of our attractions for £45.

Hope that helps,

Thanks
TJ

Went on the ride up to the top of the tower, excellent views from the top. Walked across the glass which was quite scary. Only took just over a minute to go up and down. Worth a visit

Hi Bren210,

Thanks for reviewing the Blackpool Tower Eye! Indeed, it takes exactly 69 seconds to travel to the top - which is impressive considering you travel 158 meters high. I'm glad you enjoyed the attraction :)

We appreciate your comments and feedback,
TJ

The 3d experience is really good with a few surprises in it. The glass floor is a great thing to see and stand on if your not afraid of heights. View is amazing.

We pre-booked a trip to Blackpool Tower and the Sea Life Centre for our visit to Blackpool. The cost was reasonable for 2 adults and 1 child and we experienced a 4D short movie which was fun and then got the lift up to the Tower. It is well worth the trip for the experience to stand on a glass bottom floor up to high (if you're not afraid of heights)!! and to see the views and even climb higher up for further views if you wish.

Hi philippaL684,

I'm glad to read that you enjoyed your Blackpool Tower Eye visit :) the Skywalk does take some getting used to, but is absolutely memorable once you do step onto the glass!

Been to blackpool loads one of my favorite places but never been up the tower found the entrance price a little high but thought that one ahead and had 2 for 1 entry so happy days nice little show before you go up crammed in lifts like a sardine but was well worth the 69 seconds of breathing in other peoples body odour the view was amazing from the top and the skywalk was a great touch if you have not been up the tower before i would recomend you do it at least once bit of a negative though the price for the picture at the end i feel is quite high in this day of digital printing
