Went on a stag do with some mates, was hungover when we goto the park, but still, had a great time. Definitely recommend going on the "Big one". And despite a bunch of northern drunk tards being there (we behaved lol), it's a great place for the family to go.

If you cant afford going to Disney word or Universal studios, then The Pleasure Beach is the place for you! Ok they don't have any big rides like Disney or Universal have, however the Rollercoaster and the rides for the kids are great? TIP if you want to save money book online in advance or you will pay the standard gate price of £29 for an Adult admission. The only problem I have with the pleasure beach is the fact you have to pay a £6 entrance fee just walk around also the queues to get your tickets can be very long. Have fun! :-)

A while back we bought tickets in advance for the pleasure beach. Yes there was a discount ,however they soon got their money back for charging us £5 each just to walk around with the so called pleasure beach to watch our grandchildren on old dilapidated rides.
Definitely " same old, same old"... The real pleasure is for the owners ripping off the customers...
How do they expect children to get around the pleasure beach without an adult????
They certainly know how to rip families off big time!!!

We spent the day here recently. Although expensive re entrance fee, particularly £6 just to walk around, the rides are good and a fun day out can be had for all the family.

Several years ago I visited Blackpool Pleasure Beach and did not rate it....

But

On a recent visit (5th July 2014) i was very Impressed,

Myself, My Partner and our 3 year old boy purchased out wristband in advance online and saved about £8 per adult.

When we turned up at the ticket center there was Hundreds of people waiting for their wrist bands but credit to the staff we were quickly processed and ready to go within 5 - 10 minutes.

The park is spotless clean and there was always staff sweeping up.

There is countless places for eating and drinking outside which is great especially if you get the good weather we had.

There was only a few things to mention really, some of the rides seem to trip out often which can be a pain if you have been in a queue for a while, also i felt it took a long time to turn the rides around getting new passengers off and on, Disney has this off to a tee!
My partner went to one of the stalls where you can win soft toys. when she said to the guy that she had won he said " No, the Sign is wrong " and that is no longer what was needed to win a prize " - so they are a Rip Off.

Apart from that we had a Great Day we spent 10 Hours in the Pleasure Beach, the Sun was shining and we all thoroughly enjoyed our day out and we hope to visit again when the illuminations Start
