“Excellent Day here, Animals here are Wonderful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 October 2013

Me and my partner visited Blackpool Zoo and I must say we had a brilliant time here, the Animals are lovely we didn't want to leave the Zoo. The monkeys especially for me was my favorites at the Zoo they were so entertaining and fun to watch. The Zoo is well planned out, plenty to see and do, the Animals are well looked after and got loads of animals to see. Well worth every penny to visit the animals at this Zoo. We would 100% come here again we love it!

“Fantastic family day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 October 2013

Down at blackpool for a weeks holiday from fife and decided to have a day at the zoo. Ticket prices were not too bad cost just under £40 for 2 adults 1 kid but definitely an all day thing so worth it. The dinosaur section of park is brilliant excellent photo opportunities and kept us all entertained before even seeing any animals! Bird show def worth watching as is the rats very entertaining but the lion and tiger feeding at half 2 was amazing the animals are HUGE!! Please note they don't feed big cats on Fridays. Go and see the sea lions soon cute too very clever wee things :-). Food is expensive tho we paid £30 for 3 meals and 3 drinks and to be honest not the best quality, ok but not great, not sure on policy for picnics but don't see why not as lots of tables everywhere indoors and outside too. Staff are excellent very attentive talking about animals and answering questions very kid friendly and dotted all over park. Also def go to Amazonia indoors cos wee monkeys birds etc roaming about freely which is lovely as they jump or fly over head. Lots of upgrades happening in park too so we'll worth going back to see new gorilla house etc in future.

“Fantastic! ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 October 2013 via mobile

What a fantastic zoo! Having been to other zoos and found then quite oppressive for some of the bigger animals, Blackpool zoo was completely different.
Be sure to visit on any day other then a Friday if possible as the big cats are not fed on a Friday and this was a definite highlight!
The whole zoo is laid out with very few hills, making it very easily accessible for all abilities. The staff are brilliant, and answered all my 7 year old sons (occasionally odd!) questions!
If you are planning a trip to Blackpool, make sure you don't miss this out as it is one of the best attractions!
